"Oh, hi Pigeonpaw," I muttered, glancing up at the tom with a frown. "I guess. I was supposed to start training testerday, but Patchstar said I need to wait a week because there's nobody to mentor me." I sighed, staring disintrestingly at the butterfly resting on a flower. |

Nightwing hid his scent and walked into camp. He trotted towards the apprentice's den and called out. "Pigeonpaw! Time to train, sleepyhead!" |

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own play gather around high-rock for a clan meeting!" Patchstar yowled, climbing onto high-rock. Patchstar watched cats filter through, Nightwing, Pigeonpaw, Frostwhisker, and Shellkit to name a few. "Today we will preform an important ceremony." she said. Patch star jumped down from high-rock, gracefully landing on the ground. "Shellkit, come here." She said, waiting expectantly. |

Gaping up at the leader in shcok, I bounded over to high-rock, fur bristling with excitement as stared up at the leader. i thought i wasnt becoming an apprenirce for another week!Β "I'm here Patchstar!" I yowled, earning chuckles from the clan. |

Patchstar shook her head, slightly so that only the young kit could see. "Shellkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it's time for you to be apprenticed." |

Pigeonpaw lit up with excitement as he heard Patchstar call from atop the Highrock. Shellkit will finally become an apprentice! I can't wait to see him grow! Trotting over, he sat beneath the Highrock, curling his fluffy tail around his paws. |

Patchstar watched the apprentice step closer, her tiny body shaking with excitment. "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Shellpaw. Your mentor will be Nightwing." "Nightwing, come up here." Nightwing stepped up, confusion clouding his eyes. "Uh Patchstar..." he whispered, "I already have an apprentice..." "It's almost time for Pigeonpaw to become a warrior." Patchstar stated, "Anyways, Shellkit is a bright, young cat, she might be able to learn a thing or two from him." Nightwing nodded and stepped towards Shellpaw, touching noses. "Shellpaw! Shellpaw! Shellpaw!" the cats below chanted. "This meeting is dismissed." Patchstar said, trotting back into her den. (hopefully I did okay?) |

"What are we doing first?!" I questioned, peering excitedly up at my mentor. "Battle training? Hunting? Ooh, fight off invaders!" Pouncing on an imaginary intruder, I grabbed their scruff and raked my claws down their back. "Beg for mercy tresspasser!" |
