Cherrypaw stretched and yawned, going back to the herb stores to check if anything was needed. Everything's stocked up! she thought, proudly. |

"Wha-" I gasped as nightwing snatched me scruff and I was dragged back to camp. Dragged over to the medicine den, I tore myself out from nightwings jaws, moving to stand up only for my legs to collapse under me. Wheezing, I blinked in confusion and slight panic as cherrypaw came into view. |

Cherrypaw heard a thump inside den and turned to see what it was. She saw Nightwing looking over Shellpaw, who's eyes were glazed and wheezing, chest rapidly rising and falling. "What happened?!" Cherrypaw said. "He ate deathberries..." Nightwing said, worried. Cherrypaw gasped. Her medicine cat instincts kicked in and the immediatly ran to the herb stores and pulled out some yarrow and an oak leaf. Rushing back, she instructed Nightwing to hold the leaf under the apprentice's mouth. Obeying, the black tom-cat held the leaf underneath Shellpaw's mouth. "Shellpaw, I need you to eat these herbs. It'll taste bitter and make you tummy feel weird, but will make you feel all better later." (Yarrow makes cats regurgitate.) |

"Otay," I slurred, lapping up the herbs and chewing. Gagging at the taste, I forced myself to chew and swallow, resting my muzzle against the ground as a numbness crept up my paws. "Wh-whats haffening?" A nausea feeling swept over me and I gagged, throwing up all over the oak leaf before weakly rolling away from the mess. "My paws feel numb." |

Cherrypaw looked at the mess, and saw bits of chewed-up seed. Good... but by now the poison has probably gotten into a bloodstream, not enough to be fatal, but enough that he'll have to stay in the den for a while... "Your paws feel numb? Any other symptoms?" |

"I can't stand" I mumbled, my legs twitching uncontrollablly in response. "And my neck, did I swallow a rock?" I groaned, pawing at my head as an ache settled behind my eyes. "Now I got a stupid headache. How am I going to be able to meet nettlepaw now?" |

"Hm... okay, so muscle weakness, difficulty breathing, trembling, and headache... not to severe" Cherrypaw muttered to herself. "I'll tell Nettlepaw why you can't meet, I'm sure she'll understand, after all she is a good friend of mines, even taught me how to fish and swim!" Cherrypaw went back into the herb stores and pulled out some juniper berries and feverfew. "The purple berries will help you breathe and will help you gain strength." Cherrypaw said, motioning at the juniper berries, "they taste very sweet." she finished. Motioning her tail at the feverfew, Cherrypaw said, "These spikey leaves taste a bit bitter but will make your headache feel better." |

"More herbs?" I groaned, leaning forward to lap up the herbs. The feverfew was bitter, but the sweet berries overpowered most of it. "Is this all cause I ate a few berries? I was just curious to see what they tasted like. Does this mean I'll never be able to train again? Will I get better?" I asked, heart pounding with panic at the thought of not becoming a warrior. |

"Ugh, one. No two. Actually, I think three?" I meowed, standing on shaky legs, the trembling starting to fade, I stumbled over to a nest and collapsed in it. "Do you think nettlepaw could come visit me? I'd like to tell her about the bully sparrow who dared me to eat some berries." |
