Blazingpaw had been whimpering in his sleep, as usual. Constant glares from your own Clan-mates is hard, especially if you're paranoid. As soon as he woke up, safe in the apprentice den, the morning flood of questions swept over the small tom. The question that burned the most was, why? Why did his Clan-mates treat him worse than prey? Why had he never known his parents? Was he... A past loner? Or a kittypet? Was that why ShadowClan treated him like they did? |

"Why does everyone act like I'm an outsider? Did I do something wrong that I can't remember?" In truth, Blazingpaw was Half-Clan. His mother being in ThunderClan, and father being in ShadowClan. The black tom didn't know that, though. A soft sigh escaped him. "I'm overreacting, aren't I?" Padding further into the clearing, Blazingpaw realised how early it was. The sun was slowly crawling up into the sky, causing soft rays of pink. |

The optimistic Blazingpaw started to return. "What are we doing today?" He asked his mentor, clearly curious what would require them to get up so early. "Dawn patrol?" The black apprentice guessed. It was the most logical answer. Early hunting was good to! The best, in Blazingpaw's eyes, was fighting. That way, he could prove to his Clan-mates he was as good as them, no matter what happened! |
