"Ha! As if!" The fluffy tom hid the fact that most of his Clan did hate him. He just did something wrong he can't remember, and that's all... Right? Dropping his vole, the black apprentice sat down and waited. If the deputy knew something, she would say something. "Give me one good reason why I should believe that, or would you like me to alert Pupheart that you are here?" Blazingpaw asked. It was the only way to not give away that silently, the tabby agreed. Silently, the tom knew he did nothing wrong, or he would have remembered. |

The tabby apprentice dropped the act. It fooled no cat. Not the youngest kit, not the wisest elder. "Look, I won't fully believe you, but why do think that?" A soft sight escaped the fluffy tom. His golden-tipped tail twitched slightly, not with annoyance, but curiosity. Perhaps he would finally find out why ShadowClan hated him. Did he do something wrong. Did one of his parents break the warrior code, like Tigerstar did? |

At first, the black tom brushed it off. It was impossible! Then... He started to connect the dots... Blazingpaw never knew his parents. Everyone treated him like an outsider. Even ThunderClan looked at him weird! His fluffy fur bristled, this time in fear of his realisation. Fiercehawk was right..! It was the only real explanation. But, why did it have to be him? His whole life, he just wanted to know his parents, now he despised them... |

Standing up the fluffy apprentice picked up his catch and walked off. He would go to the training clearing and climb. It helped him calm down. Being high up, it helped him gather his thoughts. As soon as he reached the mossy clearing, he leaped up and climbed the nearest pine tree. It couldn't be true! It wasn't true! No matter how many facts were thrown at him, unless it was a trusted Clanmate, he would ignore it. |

He had decided. He would ask Pupheart. Sliding down the trunk, still holding his vole, he hopped down the last bit. It was just a WindClan deputy trying to taunt him, right..? Trotting back to camp, rather reluctantly, his fear was clear. It was as if a dog was chasing him, but he made no effort to run. His black head was drooping, and his fluffy tail lost it's usual, playful sway. It just couldn't be true! |
