The tall white tom was sitting in camp, gingerly grooming his back and face fur and spitting out little tufts of shed hair. His fur was sleek and shiny, and despite his decision to live his life out in these wilds, he intended on keeping it that way to the best of his ability. He looked up when he saw the deputy, Fiercehawk, enter camp and search around for a while. He dipped his head in respectful greeting before answering. "I believe," he started helpfully, "that she went out on her own not too long ago. She seemed like she was… looking for something, maybe?" |

Fiercehawk twitched her tail and said, "Well, if she isn't back in a few hours, I'll send out a search party. For now, though, I don't think we need to worry. Halfstar knows her way around the territory." |

The black she-cat lay down on a sun-warmed rock and looked at the fresh-kill pile. "The fresh-kill pile is almost empty," she said, "does anyone want to go hunt?" |

Bearpaw pushed aside the marigold petals with a sigh and padded out of the den. Ravenfeather was still sleeping, and Bearpaw was getting too antsy to keep sitting around. As she exited the dark medicine cat's den, she blinked a few times as her eyes adjusted, spotting Fiercehawk and Dandelion easily. Bearpaw had arrived just in time to hear Fiercehawk's question, and her ears pricked immediately. "If you take a hunting patrol, may I go with you? I have to gather herbs, and it would be nice to go with a patrol," she meowed. |

Well, it doesn't look like anyone else is going to come, but I think I'll hunt. You can come with me if you like. Where do you need to go to gather your herbs? |

Bearpaw waved her tail, thinking. "Well, we're kind of running low on borage...do you think we could go visit that field? Kind of near the WindClan border?" She folded her tail neatly around her paws, waiting for Fiercehawk's answer. |

Bearpaw shook her head, embarrassed at her slip. "I meant the ShadowClan border...sorry it's been a long day!" (Forgot this character is WindClan and not ThunderClan help  )
