Beartooth hurried the little kit along, looking from side to side and scenting the air every few steps. As they approached the camp, she took a deep breath. "We're getting close...technically, I'm not supposed to bring you here, but..." she shrugged. "Well, if anything happens, I will defend you with my life, okay, Fate?" She crouched down so the calico could see the protective fire burning in her eyes. "Are you ready?" |

"I-I guess? And don't you dare waste your life on me!" The same burning protective instinct was clear in the calico's gaze. With that, the two of them entered a dip in the moorlands. It was huge! Many cats walked around, with some talking. A huge mound stood proud in the middle, clearly a point of importance. Was this what it looked like to be in a Clan? |

Beartooth called out to the black she-cat pacing the clearing. "Fiercehawk! I've come to report a dog on our territory..it could be potentially dangerous for our warriors!" |

As Beartooth called out to another cat in the clearing, most gazes shifted to the kit. The large she-cat stood up tall, but inside, she was as scared as can be. What if they hurt her? They wouldn't... Right..? Fate suddenly realised just how many cats were there. There was no way the calico could stand a chance if she did have to fight! (I got a new stud! It's my first public, so I'll make him a thread in a sec) |

Beartooth noticed the little kit puffing up her fur and trying to look brave, and turned towards Fate. "It's alright, I promise...these cats won't hurt a kit. And I'll protect you." |

Hearing Beartooth call to her, she padded to them. "A dog? Where?" she demanded. Her sharp gaze shifted to the kit. "And who's this?" |

Beartooth stood more defensively in front of the little calico, her tail flicking. She tried to communicate with her eyes that Fate was not a threat and wouldn't be separated from Beartooth. "I don't know if you remember where my chervil patch is, but it's around there. I can lead you there. And...this is Fate. She's just a kit who's been on her own for a while. I met her on the territory a bit back, but she left after I told her it was Clan territory. I found her again and then I was worried about leaving a kit out with a dog..." |

"I know exactly where your chervil patch is," she replied. She had used the chervil patch many times to disguise her scent. "And relax. I'm not going to hurt the kit. Is she going to leave clan territory? Or is she thinking about joining us?" She asked, studying the kit closely. |
