As they trot through the forest, Bearpaw almost gallops along, happy to be out of the stuffy camp. She loves running through the woods like this, and any excuse is a good excuse to get out. She still keeps an eye out to see if Fiercehawk scents any prey, though, not forgetting the purpose of this patrol. |

The she-cat tastes the air for prey, or perhaps Halfstar. She catches the scent of rabbit, and angles her ears towards it to signal Bearpaw so she wouldn't mess Fiercehawk up. |

She had been looking for Fiercehawk for ages but their scent wore away quickly. They certainly weren't anywhere on WindClan territory, which scared Halfstar. Her own Deputy, going into other cat's Clans? Or had they been... killed? No. No, they were just hiding somewhere. Giving up, she decided to go back to the Camp. Maybe someone knew of their location? On her way there, she found Fiercehawk and Bearpaw heading towards the ShadowClan border. "Where were you, Fiercehawk? I've been looking for you for ages! Are you alright? Where have you been??" |

Fiercehawk admitted to falling asleep next to the RiverClan border. She was certain that she had looked everywhere, but no... Fiercehawk wouldn't lie... Right? "Oh, that's OK! Everyone needs good rest! I'll be going now!" she purred. |

She stretched after she woke up and stood up. She was a bit embarrassed that she had slept for so long, but she snapped out of it quickly. When she couldn't sense her apprentice in the medecine cat den, she stepped out into the camp, to look for her there. She followed her scent to the exit of the den and decided that Bearpaw was out gathering herbs. She quickly walked over to her den to check on her herb storage. They were running low on borage, so Bearpaw was probably on her way to that field near the ShadowClan border. She decided to follow her apprentice there and help her with the herbs. |

Halfstar stalked off. Relieved, Fiercehawk realized the rabbit was gone. She sighed and started tasting the air for prey again. |
