oh ok
instead of a lantern it can be a large flat rock with a small pile of cedar wood bits on it for burning and the healers can have a moss that soaks up lots of water that they can use to put out the "incense" when they want

they bring a stick over from the main fire in the middle which has been kept burning since a now-deceased wolf set it alight

So… that doesn't make much sense,unless they CONSTANTLY had eyes on it to keep it going,and had some way to get large amounts of wood,and ways to keep it from spreading,it would become chaos

wouldnt the pupsitters have some time to themselves when the pups are sleeping and the elders could occasionally could go out and bring some dry sticks bc the healers encourage them to move around sometimes and the dead wolf could have pushed stones in a circle and collected kindling and larger sticks for burning

Pups have to be watched at night to- they could get up and sneak off XD
There's only like 1 elder I believe,but how would that wolf have collected the sticks n stuff? I'm tryna figure out how to make this a bit more,realistic for this rp XD

its not hard to pick up small sticks that are pencil width and maybe sometimes the pupsitters could give the pups a challenge of who can collect the most firewood (in pairs of two pups and a pupsitter to chaperone them) and the winning team gets first choice of snacks when its snack time for the pups
