Lilith noticed Storm approach Diego and smiled slightly. The two seemed to be sharing a decent conversation which pleased her. Ever since Diego had joined them, he'd been silent for the most part. Providing food without question, reporting anything unusual, but never delving into the conversation. She left the two alone glancing around to look for Ace. She didn't see him, so he was either sleeping still or he'd hobbled off somewhere to be alone. She popped her head into his head, "Good morning old timer." She said with a soft chuckle. Ace groaned, "No..." Another chuckle left Lilith, "Oh come now, it's not that bad."

Ace - Elder of Powered - 13yrs - Location: His Den - Tags: Lilith
"Let me sleep, Lil." She shook out her fur before walking into his den, "You doing okay?" Ace opened his eyes, his yellow eye focusing on her. He'd gotten used to only seeing out of one eye. "Do I look like I'm doing good?" She shrugged, "For a wolf your age, yes. If you are in pain, I can go get something from Eva." He shook his head, "Do not waste her precious herbs on an old fool." Lilith laid next to him, "You aren't a fool, you are an Elder and we younger wolves do seek your knowledge. While your body may be impaired your mind is not. So you aren't useless like you feel." He huffed, "Your words are as straightforward as always. But at least they do carry the truth. You need not worry, if the pain gets too bad I will go to Eva." Lilith sighed, "Part of me wishes I had some ability to stop pain or heal..." Ace chuckled, "These powers so far have been interesting. I don't know if a power like that would appear, but if it did I wouldn't want it used on me. I will be the Elder till my last breath. I do not wish for immortality, or to extend my life beyond its means. I've lived long enough as is. You aren't so young either Lil, you should think about finding a mate. Perhaps having pups."

Eva - Healer of Powered - 4yrs - Location: Just arrived back in camp - Tags: Open
Eva sighed as Lilith left her to tend to her herbs once again. She knew it was dangerous to go out alone, but she felt more comfortable being alone. After how her brother turned on her so quickly, her already nonexistent social skills collapsed.

Diego - Hunter of Powered - 4yrs - Location: Outside his den - Tags: Storm
He chuckled, "Let's go then." He padded alongside her, thinking about chasing more deer to their area. "Herding the deer to our area isn't a bad idea. We could set up some strict rules when it comes to hunting them. Oh, well Lilith could. I'd probably just share the idea with her. If we target the elk more, the deer might start to feel less threatened by us. For now let's get in a hunt, some rabbits, fish, and maybe a squirrel or two should do. We would want to inform Lilith before taking such a long trek. I don't know about the other half under Eliza's command if they'd want to join in on this as well. I know most of them don't care about those with powers, but we are still working together in a sense and the prey would concern all of us." He huffed, "I still don't understand why the others shun those with powers. I'd love to have some sort of power...I feel like I could help the pack better."

Zaver - Warrior of Normal - 5yrs - Location: Camp - Tags: Eliza
He shifted on his paws before letting out a soft sigh, "No need to apologize to me, you are our Alpha. Besides what I wish to share with you at this point is only a theory. Part of me wants to confirm it, the other half says let the beasts lie where they are."  He let out another sigh before rushing forward, "We've been within the Faithful Grounds for about a month and a half now. I know this idea may seem crazy, but what if the Turned can't enter here? Or perhaps they are scared to enter this place. We have had a few Turned enter the outer parts of the Faithful Grounds, but they had never gotten to the inner sections of it. This once again is only a theory that at the moment I have no urge to test. But what if we are being blessed by the moon? Protected even, though it may not be a perfect protection. We only ever have true issues with the Turned when doing hunts, scouting, or patrols well outside the bounds of Faithful Grounds."

Echo - Pup of Normal - 7months - Location: In Vera's den - Tags: Vera
"Yes, that was something my mother used to tell me. She said that you can sometimes find the most unlikely help from a stranger, but to always be caution and aware. That was how mom and dad met...She was a loner and he was part of a pack." She smiled softly, "Dad would tell me he fell for mom on their first meeting because mom pinned him to the ground with ease. Dad was a big wolf mind you." Her voice shook slightly as tears pricked her eyes. "I miss them..."

Vera - Pupsitter of Normal - 4yrs - Location: In her den - Tags: Echo
Vera's heart trembled for her, "I know...none of us know what happened to those who became the Vanished, but is is bad that a part of me hopes...they are alive somewhere..." Echo's ear perked up, "R-really?" Vera nodded, "Don't get your hopes up though. This is simply a hope of mine. That they are being protected from all of this. Why? I wouldn't know. Perhaps though...shh though don't tell the others. They might think you and I are crazy for having such thoughts." Echo nodded her tail wagging at the thought, "If they are safe that would be amazing. But if not at least they aren't suffering as a Turned." Vera smiled softly at Echo, "Exactly." She ruffled Echo's fur, "Let's head out. Earlybird gets the worm. Maybe we can catch something to eat while we are out." 

Diego - Hunter of Powered - 4yrs - Location: Outside his den - Tags: Storm
He nodded, "Hopefully I can catch something with some meat on it. But catching decent fish can be tricky. I know one place that has some decent ones. If I end up empty pawed I'll circle back to you to see what you've caught. Perhaps help you catch more. Can't have a warrior out hunting me as a hunter." He said with a small playful smirk. They made their way through some thicker wooded parts before he came to a stop at a smaller stream, the waters were slowly drying away which left the waters murky as the remaining fish struggled to find deeper waters. You could see multiple larger fish splashing against the waters as they tried to move through the more muddy parts. "Looks like this might be the last time I fish here unless we get a decent rain." He muttered, wondering if he'd get stuck in the mud trying to catch the fish.

He stared at the murky waters before diving in, something told him Storm would make fun of him for turning into a mudwolf. The first fish was practically stuck, unable to move from the mud and he caught it with ease. It wasn't small, but also wasn't medium-sized either. Honestly, it was a rather strange size. He tossed it to the bank, making sure it didn't move. His next target was one of the bigger fish. He could tell it was a catfish by the snap of its spines. He'd have to be careful if he didn't want to get cut by those.

Zaver - Warrior of Normal - 5yrs - Location: Camp - Tags: Eliza
He waited for a moment before following her, "I would gladly help. If you wanted to test it out. We'd want to get everyone out. Also, see if we could locate one or two Turned." he offered up the idea, he wouldn't toss such information to Eliza and then leave her to try and fully figure it out on her own. "Just a possible idea. Or we could leave it. Wait and see. I'm sure the Turned will come on their own. They always have. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you, Eliza."

Lilith let out a small sigh, "As much as I would love to find a mate. What's going on around us is far more of a concern for me. I have to make sure we survive before I think about my own happiness." Ace gave her a side eye, "I know how you felt about that one male." Lilith flinched, "Please don't mention him, he's gone. Killed by the turned so I could escape."

Ace let out a sigh, "You do know that wasn't your fault right, you were making sure others got to safety." Lilith glanced to the ground, "Still though, I feel like I should have done something more..." "We could all do something more, Lil. If you went by that logic you could save the world and it still not be enough." Her ears pressed against her head for a moment before she shook herself, "You're right." She took in a deep breath, "Anyways, if you aren't okay go to Eva. Before I do it for you, and then you'd get to listen to Eva bicker about your health." Now Ace groaned, "Anything but that...I wish she'd take her confidence in her work and put it towards her every day." Lilith chuckled, "Same. She'd shine wonderfully if she did. Not to mention it'd be great if she could rub it in her brother's face! I'll leave you to it."

Eva - Healer of Powered - 4yrs - Location: Just arrived back in camp - Tags: Open
Eva hummed a soft tune to herself as she worked, it only took her a few more minutes to get everything settled in. The herb she had set aside to dry out under the sun today, along with herbs that she needed to pluck. Everything was perfectly aligned.

Echo - Pup of Normal - 7months - Location: In Vera's den - Tags: Vera
"Oh, I want to see if I can catch a rabbit. I was so close the first time. At least now I know to be more careful of where my paws land." Vera chuckled, "Well sometimes twigs get the best of us." Echo padded beside Vera, "Thank you." Echo muttered, making Vera glance at her.

"What are you thanking me for?" She asked softly. "For finding me? Taking me in despite how I fought you." Vera's face softened, "I would do it all over, even for another wolf. Right now times are hard and we really do need to stick together." Echo nodded, "Those with powers are cool! I want to be able to fly!" Vera gave her a slight smile, "While that is true, sometimes change is hard to accept." She glanced around, "While we are out, should I show you something?" Echo nodded, "Of course!"
