Ace chuckled as Storm teased the female about not joining them. He would have been worried about Lilith if Storm had been freaking about, but she seemed normal. "Both of you look like you could use some attention from a healer." He glanced around but didn't see, Nimue, Eva, or Moira. "If Lilith is injured that probably mean Nimue or Moira are tending to her. Since the only time, Eva becomes a true chatterbox is when she is nagging others for getting injured. So where is Eva..." He pondered with a slight frown, "I'm worried about her because she seemed worse than usual..."

Ace frowned, "Who would want to cuddle this old sack of bones? Our young pup would much rather snuggle against someone with soft full fur. Not to mention I would hate for the young pup to feel like he is being used for his powers."

His eyes followed after Eliza, but his mind wandered to Lilith for a second. "Lilith told me my Alpha comes first. I'll go with you and help with what you might need. Even with the wound she still stood tall, which sort of gave me a whole new appreciation for her. Wait...wasn't she supposed to have a power?" He asked sort of to himself, wondering what it had been.

Lilith's ears flicked as Nimue's eyes said it all, "Yes, yes I know. I was rather reckless. But hey at least I'm still alive. Might just have earned myself a new scar. Do what you need to, I was feeling lightheaded here and there so I know I've lost a bit too much blood. I'll be in your care Nimue. Promise no unnecessary moves until I'm feeling better. Okay?"

Eva's ears perked up from what she'd been doing when she heard the crash, and she headed toward it out of curiosity. The sight of a male wolf backing away from the Elder like he was about to be eaten made her chuckle. "You are okay...with everything that's going on, we don't run off wolves unless they try to cause trouble. By the way...those snapping sounds...are you okay?" She asked sitting down with her tail curled around her paws. Her eyes glanced towards the other wolf who spoke, a female. "Two strangers, today has been very eventful. Hello." Her voice was soft as she spoke now to Chakshu, but her eyes turned back to the male wondering if he really was okay.

Diego chuckled, "Well, to be honest, I'm not really sure illusions can speak. Or am I wrong about that Tidal?" but even as he asked, an illusion appeared, speaking and startling him before it vanished. "Oh..guess I am wrong...Have to admit that's a bit creepy." He glanced towards the snapping sound but didn't feel too alarmed as the other wolf hit the ground hard not too far from them. Tidal seemed to be entertained by the sudden drop in of the wolf.

He nodded, maybe if he worked alongside Warth more the thought of these powered wolves wouldn't bother him too much. If he could manage to get over whatever it was the bothered him about them...then maybe he could at least tell his sister he was sorry about that part. Though there was no telling if Eva would give him the time of day now. He let out a small sigh as he shook his head, "Task...come on Falco!" He growls at himself focusing on the scents around them. "How exactly does your power help you hunt?" He asked, somewhat curious about how shadows could help someone hunt.

Vera - Pupsitter of Normal - 4yrs - Location: In her den - Tags: Open
he watched from the pupsitter's den as River and Echo talked. It made her chuckle as River had easily pinned down Echo. But as it was, Echo didn't get discouraged. She let out a soft sigh, it was good. Watching the two of them, they would be good for each other. She felt unsettled about letting Echo run about on her own, but she was seven months old already...she was more than old enough to go about on her own.

Echo nodded, listening to River's instructions. Her eyes focused on the snail and it slid along the rock. For a bit, she waited patiently, but then it decided to change course, "Come on little guy, the longer you take the more her scent fades." River's tail swayed side to side, as it got closer to the edge before it finally reached the ledge. However, River had said it had to be off the rock. She shifted on her paws as it grew closer and closer to the edge before finally, it left the rock!  "Here I come!" She almost shouted, ready to dart off after River.

Ace glanced at Raven as she spoke up, "True, showing others you can't be bullied is a good way not to be used. But that might be hard for a three-month-old pup. Which is where we adults step in as the young are impressionable. Oh did I ever tell you my name, Raven? I am Ace, nothing but an old fool in this pack but they treat me well regardless of being a burden. Sorry, I should have introduced myself before, but there is a lot going on." He glanced at Storm and then back to Raven, the two looked very similar in some ways, it wasn't just the wings.

"Yes, well while that may be true. It doesn't stop us from feeling like a burden as we were once hunters, warriors, healers. Watching you young ones having to face off with these new terrors does my heart no good. Makes me wish my body was in better shape, especially as I was once a warrior. The urge to protect others will always reign within my core. Though I must admit, watching how strong you all are despite what you are facing gives this old soul hope." Warmth filled his eyes as he stared at the two of them. "I truly hope you two get to see a future without these monsters. If I had a dying wish, it would be that."

Ace watched the two of them as they talked and laughed together, "You two really do seem similar." He blurted out without meaning to, "N-not in a bad way or because of the wings. Sorry if that came off as rude." He let out a sigh silently cursing his old mouth. He'd been thinking it for a while but he hadn't meant to say it. Sometimes wolves would get offended for being compared to each other. He doubted this would be the case, but still.

He shrugged, "I held a certain amount of respect for her. But this just sort of affirmed it. Protection...I wonder why she didn't use it when she shoved me out of the way." He said with a small frown as he walked beside her. "Maybe in the moment she forgot, she does seem like the type that would move first and deal with the consequences later. Perhaps that's why she told me not to feel guilty."
