Starkov clamped his muzzle shut though there was a displeased noise from the male. Come now, it's an exaggeration to compare me to those bundles of fluff... The ex-loner huffed dismissively, though there was a hint of amusement. The loner was bold, especially so for a Powered. But that was how things were when one had... Well, power.

"Hmph..." was the only reply that Lost got from Starkov, who begrudgingly respected the fact that the loner was being reasonable.

There was another "Hmph" from Starkov as he nodded in return, watching the loner leave. He was still wary of course, but at least that one didn't seem interested in causing any issues. And they looked like they weren't going to further trespass on the Normal Pack's territory. Good. The last thing anyone needed was extra trouble on top of dealing with the Turned.

Speaking of which, what was that rotting scent in the wind...? Starkov made a note to check that out later. Or sooner, depending on how urgent it felt. For now, he couldn't hear anything too concerning from there. Maybe it was just an expired carcass? He let the thought sit in his head before turning to the remaining stranger, the she-wolf... who's scent suggested she was from the Powered pack. Hm. Why is it that their types find me so easily? Starkov mused silently, gaze narrowing at Astrai.

"And you... ought to be on the other side of this border," Starkov pointed out, tilting his head.

After more displeased grumbling at the she-wolf from the Powered pack, Starkov eventually decided he had more pressing matters to attend to. As long as the she-wolf returned to her own pack's territory, Starkov's considered that there'd be a low chance of trouble. Especially given the other's supposedly nervous disposition. _{(Gonna leave Astrai for now.)}

That scent on the wind was really bothering Starkov. The smell of rot, decay, and blood. One that he was very familiar with given his past. Now, Starkov would hopefully find nothing but a carcass. But with the increase in Turned reaching these areas, he would take no chances. The scarred wolf growled a low grumble under his breath, but took off in the direction of the deathly scent at a steady gait.
