Lilith, Soren, and Raven had arrived at the Meeting Lake to find Eliza lazying by the waters. It had sent a spike of irritation through Lilith at how calm the female seemed after planning to possibly ruin their current 'peace' for a mere test. Eliza had seemed a bit surprised by Soren and Raven being with Lilith. In that time Zaver had gone back to camp to inform everyone to stay put and be ready to leave or fight. Telling them this was an order from their Alpha, but to do their best not to panic. He had made fast work to get back to his Alpha's side. Glancing at Lilith for a moment, his eyes lingering. Zaver and Eliza went off to look for some turned, leaving Lilith waiting.

Zaver had followed Eliza to the outer woods, their hunt for a Turned was going somewhat well. They had caught the sent of one, a wolf. It would have been nice to find say a fox, but there were...last he knew several wolves waiting to fight off the Turned. Then again the whole point of this test was to see if the Turned could enter their grounds or if they stayed away from it. He let out a small sigh, before snapping from his mind. A loud roar dragged him from his thought just in time to miss the swipe of a huge paw. Bear... his mind hissed. He didn't have time to check on Eliza, dodging another swipe. The smell of this area had dulled his senses, animals that had been Turned for a long time, uselessly started to smell like death. Foul, rotting infected bodies, moving regardless of the pain or missing body parts they had. This bear was missing half it's face, it looked as if it had been mauled by another of its kind.

His eyes darted to Eliza for a moment before turning and running, the bear's focus was on him and his Alpha was far more important than himself. Much to his glee, it followed, madly chasing his tail. He ran as fast as his paws could carry him. Leaping through the woods further away from camp. They didn't need to test it with a bear, he zigged and zagged and finally managed to lose the damn thing. His body was stiff as he held his breath, the bear had gotten distracted by a doe. He felt bad for the poor thing, but this meant he was free to get back to his Alpha. He moved silently, watching each step....as he made it back to the spot Eliza had been she was gone. He called to her but got no response. He hadn't heard a howl, nor anything else...but he'd also been hyper-focused on ditching the Turned bear.

He walked around looking for Eliza's scent, but it was hard to pick up on through the mix of other scents and he soon found himself face to face with a drooling, twitching wolf, it was missing patches of its coat, and even some chunks of flesh. Its fangs looked sharper than a normal wolf's and its clouded clueless eyes watched his every move. "You want me..." He growled and it lunged without hesitation. He leaped to the side before darting passed it, once again running. The Turned wolf was hot on his tail, its teeth making horrible snapping sounds as it tried to stretch its jaws for a taste of Zaver's body.

That was what now led Lilith to pace, her eyes hard and she circled back once again. Her ears flicked with irritation while her tail swayed behind her. She had hoped to talk Eliza out of this plan. Had hoped some of her packmates could, however, that had not been the case. She was indeed a stubborn Alpha. Lilith froze, raising her muzzle to the air, and felt a chill run along her spine. The faint stench of a foul smell hit her nose and made her muzzle curl back in distaste. She could smell it...Eliza or Zaver had found a Turned and they were coming.

A small part of him worried, maybe he should have fought with the wolf before dragging it this far. But when he noticed, Lilith, Raven, and Soren standing tall and ready. He shook the thought away, he was feeling exhausted as was from the bear he'd ditched. If he had tried fighting that wolf then and there, he'd probably be dead or worse turning. He flew passed Lilith, before skidding to a stop and turning to face the horrible-looking wolf.

"Be ready..." Lilith muttered as her fur bristled tall, she made the first move. Her muscles tensed as Zaver flew by them and then lunged. She crashed into the Turned Wolf with such force it hurt her body, but it brought the thing to a dead stop. Her teeth sank into its shoulder as it thrashed and growled. Any normal wolf would have yelped and be shuttering at that sort of hit from her. Even Zaver had felt the full force of one of those attacks from Lilith. She felt pain sear into her side as it clawed at her and she released the thing jumping back, spitting its foul blood from her mouth. This thing wasn't stopping, but they were in the outer area of the Faithful Grounds. The Turned Wolf lurched at Lilith, but she dodged its fumbling attack, "I won't command you guys...fight...but if we want to test this fully we need to bring it deeper in..." Zaver now seemed unsure of his idea, for the first time, "H-how deep?"

Anger coursed through Lilith as she jumped back from another snap of the wolf's jaws, "You started this we finished it! All the way if we must!" Zaver nodded, glancing around..but still he found no sight of Eliza. Was she okay?

"I don't know, we got separated! We ran into a Turned bear, I led it as far away as I could before it got distracted by a doe! When I returned Eliza wasn't anywhere to be found! I had hoped she'd returned to you guys!" He hissed as Raven darted and circled the Turend Wolf. Clearly making it more angry.

"We will look for her as we deal with this...or...do you two want to go look for your Alpha." Lilith felt impressed with Raven's movements, once again she felt like she was watching Storm... She had always been quick on her paws, though lately, she seemed to be even faster. "Whatever you plan to do, make up your minds now, hesitation will get you killed!" She hissed before joining Raven in the tag of the game with the deadly wolf. She followed Raven's moves, though hers weren't nearly as quick. As they circled the wolf, they were slowly but surely dragging it further into the Faithful Grounds. Each time it lunged and they back out of its teeth's grasp.

Diego was starting to get a cramp in his neck as he craned it back to see Storm resting in a tree again. "Storm...can you...please get back down here. If something happens to you then what would we do if Lilith doesn't return?" Worry biting at him, she was just so high up in the air...so far away from him.
