i am heavily fixated on medical advances, hellboy, and x-men at the moment- if you are not comfortable with me randomly infodumping about experimental medicine or medical procedures ooc, PLEASE tell me so i can accomodate for that!! - i write in semi-lit to lit, usually 1-3 paragraphs in the third person. i can do longer, but it is incredibly draining so i prefer not to - whether i write my character's inner thoughts depends on the character's personality - i use proper grammar and punctuation, but i generally wont capitalize things and usually dont bother with apostrophes. i type very fast so some typos slip through the cracks bc i dont use spellcheck due to it annoying me- i typo a LOT in casual ooc convo, but will spellcheck rp posts - i send memes, i make shitposts, in general im a very lighthearted person! i love befriending my rp partners - i have a background in human and animal behavior research, expect my characters to be heavily layered with realistic behaviors/actions and detailed backstories, even if we aren't doing a realistic rp. this is simply more fun for me, aha - i am not a fast responder unless im highly motivated, which happens sporadically due to my sADHD. i will try to respond every day, but i may take up to a week. remind me to respond if im taking too long for you, please! - i am very communicative about my muse. if im struggling to respond, i will tell you, and likely tell you why so that either we can figure out a workaround or you dont feel like im ignoring you if a life thing came up 🙂 - i work full time and my workload every day is entirely unpredictable so i may be super active one day and super quiet another - im an artist! i might draw our characters if im really vibing with them! - write at least 3+ sentences per post! i am most comfortable in the 1-3 paragraph range, and i am ok with sporadic 2-3 sentence responses, but PLEASE do not one-line or give me a response that i cant build off of! i usually mirror my partners length if they get short. - i expect a response at least once per week at minimum - write in third person with proper grammar and at least decent punctuation - your characters to have at least mostly realistic personalities and behavior, or behaviors explainable by their backstory/lives. you dont need to have researched anything, i just dont want like… blorbo burst into the room with three bombs in their hands, cackling about blowjng up the gymnasium!1!1!1 yknow? - please please PLEASE be okay with chatting ooc and becoming buddies! i will yap about my pets, media, and my job sometimes and id be happy for you to do the same! - be communicative if you dislike how the rp is going, have any discomfort or writing block, or need me to change anything on my end. i am 100% okay with discussed retcons! - have basic rp decency. dont godmod, dont powerplay, dont control my character, etc. - WE WILL DISCUSS PHYSICAL INJURIES DURING FIGHTS EXTENSIVELY OOC TO ENSURE WE ARE BOTH COMFORTABLE WITH THE OUTCOME - if your or my character is hurt, i expect it to heal realistically and have realistic consequences on the roleplay, unless they have reasonable access to magical healing, which should be mentioned after the injury. so if their foot breaks, dont write them walking as if nothing happened, etc. this is important to me, especially if the injury is disabling. - be okay with a roleplay ending! if the story reaches a natural conclusion, we can always start a new rp - if you dont have any rp examples in your wolvden forum history, i might ask you for an example paragraph im sorry if this seems like a lot- in my experience with rp, ive run into some real whackjobs that have made me feel like i need these parameters written 😠i kid you not, the gymnasium bomb guy was a real thing that happened to me in the middle of a serious rp, it was not a joke the player was making, and it destroyed an entire rp server in the ensuing ooc fight about it DISCORD: i mainly roleplay on discord. i am open to discord DM roleplay, but i prefer making us a private server so i can seperate ooc chatter from the actual roleplay. we can go as basic (one rp channel) or as indepth (multiple location channels) as youd like! WOLVDEN: i am also open to rping in a thread on wolvden, but its been literal years since my last forum rp so keep that in mind :3 i would also request ur discord if we did this so we can talk ooc, because its very inconvenient to have a long ooc convo in forum threads or wolvden DMs OTHER: i will likely not rp anywhere else, but it never hurts to suggest a place to me! the worst i can say is no OCs: when it comes to original characters…. i have many! i am a writer and have all sorts of settings, story plots, and character personalities, so please tell me what you are wanting from an rp partner's character- if i dont have one that fits your needs, i can always make a new one! FANDOM OCs: i WILL be picky about what fandoms i roleplay in, but feel free to ask about them! if im familiar with the media i can make an oc or adapt a pre-existing oc of mine! i might even already have an oc in the fandom! i prefer human or humanoid rp the most and am unlikely to do any feral or anthro rp. if a plot for a furry roleplay interests me enough then i would be open to it, so dont be afraid to suggest one though! right now, i am not interested in feral roleplay. CANON CHARACTERS: i am willing to play canon characters from humanoid media that i am familiar with! if you want to do a canon character roleplay, please ask me about the media you have in mind and if i know it i will tell you who i am comfortable writing. just keep in mind that again, i am picky about what fandoms i rp in so i am likely to say no if i dont know the media. i am able to write any personality achetype, gender and character status. i am partial to writing characters who are not necessarily good people but have reasons for their behavior, but again, im open to anything! throw your ideas at me! i love gore, horror, psych horror, monsters, science fiction, space, fantasy, 1800s american western, DnD settings (especially as-written in canon), and superhumans/nonhumans, but im willing to branch waaayyy out if your idea interests me! modern or not also isnt a huge deal 🙂 i tend to avoid shipping with people i dont know, and the characters need a natural chemistry. because of this, for OCs i will not roleplay out a ship from the start with new rp partners, or agree to have the characters end up one. give me a few days to weeks to get a feel for how our characters vibe together and then we can discuss shipping! just let me know from the start if youre open to eventual ships! i love enemies to lovers and we-ended-up-in-love-bc-we-had-to-hang-out-so-long 🙂 i also do have some flirty characters if that's up your alley i am perfectly fine with any ships between canon or OCxCanon characters as long as it does not violate a canon character's queer identity. (so, if a character is straight in canon, im fine with a queer ship, but if theyre strictly lesbian in canon, i dont want to participate in them dating a cisman, if that makes sense) i love overarching plots that the characters are caught in, and id love to hash those out ooc with you! im down for maps, dice rolls, randomized encounters, etc!! lets make it fun! OCs: - survivors of an accident having to pick their way through a harsh/semiapocalypse landscape only to find that civilization/survivorgroups are just as chaotic as the wilderness - dnd setting, accidental (or intentional?) demon summoning and now the two are bound together - monster hunters did a big fuckup and now are in WAYY over their heads with forces they were not prepared for CANONs: - x-men! i am HANKERING for a good x-men roleplay. id love to write kurt wagner, and i am absolutely down for shipping with him!! i headcanon him as bisexual, so anything goes :3 - cryptid x human? specifically id love to play mothman.. not necessarily romantic but it can be. im down to hash out details for this!! i just love mothman lol i broke the categories into spoilers bc again i talk a lot and dont wanna make a 50 mile long post infodumping, broken heart emoji if you were willing to wade through all of this wordsalad and are interesting in planning a roleplay with me, send me a message here with some info about yourself/your writing style and if i think we're a match ill pass you my discord username :3 thank you for reading this, im very excited to get back into rp! |

It has been quite some time since I've done anything in the world of role, as my partner of many years has been doing the college thing and needs to step away for the foreseeable future. I have come to miss writing, but that partner was the only one I ever had, so it took a bit for me to start looking for another. If you're still interested, I could give a go at a role to start and see how well we mesh! (Seeing the details here, I'm quite sure we will!) I also enjoy fantasy and sci-fi settings, and actually have created an entire material plane for my DnD campaign with a map, lore, and lots of OCs of mine (I also have many children of my own creation, whom I will be using. I tend not to play canon characters but that's just because I don't know many well enough to feel like I'm not going to butcher them...) And I will absolutely bombard you with info, updates, and pics of my cat sons so prepare for that :) |
