hello! i have been wanting to get into making my own css for a while now but i am stuck on a few things (i code on a windows 11 machine w/ chrome if it makes it easier)

i understand the code bit, i just am not sure about these few questions! i can try and clarify it a bit more if you need although i'm not the best at explaining things!

1. when making your css, are you able to see the changes you make live or do you have to re-upload the code each time you make an edit? if you can see it live, how?

2. when you're done editing the css, how should i save it and how do i upload it to a hosting site? and, what site should i use?

(please excuse if this is in the wrong area, i was going to post it into css sale but realised i'm not selling or looking for...)

THANK YOU!!

Hullo! I believe a Chrome extension called Stylus allows you to make and edit codes and see them live on your page (personally I struggle to use it but you can give it a try!). Usually, I use Notepad for my coding, so I save it to my computer and then upload it to Dropbox, which I find many people use for hosting CSS codes. Neocities has also floated around a bit as a CSS hosting site but again, I struggled to use it. I'm sure Stylus has some kind of save option on it so you can save it to your device and then upload it to Neocities or Dropbox, however if not you can instead copy the code from Stylus into Notepad and save it there.
I hope I was able to help, and good luck with your CSS!
(If you have any further questions you can also feel free to DM me, I've picked up a few things along my coding adventures ^-^.)
