If chasing would cost energy, less people would get rid of unwanted wolves this way (since now it doesn't cost anything and I know a thing no or two about hating to wait to send some wolves from your den) and therefore the pool of wolves that are possible to be found in explore would likely get more niche, and with that (probably) the wolves more valuable, e.g. tier III base rarity. |

I would like to note that there's already a suggestion about this. That being said, it's still something I support. It's backwards that it costs a penalty to delete a wolf, but making a wolf more valuable is free. One is essentially throwing away an unwanted asset - I can delete an item in my hoard for free, why are wolves different? I've seen a startling amount of players dismiss and outright criticize other players for using chase instead of send away. It doesn't benefit a non-R&Cer to send away 10 wolves and waste half their energy bar, but it does to just chase them to get rid of them. They should be allowed to play how they want, but send away's existence opened up the doors for rude behavior. Not everyone is an R&Cer, and many will treat chase the same as send away. Switching the energy cost would help rechases not get into the pool while not punishing players who just want to erase a blank NBW. I don't believe either should cost energy, but that's not going to change. |

EXTREME support! I'm so sick of the market right now it makes Wolvden way less fun. Whenever I want to buy a NBW (even if it's a crappy looking one or markless or old) it's like 10gc to 30gc and they will NOT budge because they've been playing since NBW were 80gc and they could not care less. A majority of players would rather rechase than budge on the profit margin. Other players will just give the wolf away (which I love) but like.... if you put a NBW T3 yearling on the giveaway it INSTANTLY gets like 10+ claims. But for the life of me I cannot sell a gorgeous NBW T3 yearling for 100sc a majority of the time. It used to be so fun to find a T3 chased in explore and now I dread having to deal with it. I see tons of ppl use their NBW T3s as PUPSITTERS and while last year I would have thought that is insane it honestly makes sense now. While I don't think we should go back to T3 NBW being exclusive (let's leave markings, carriers, and new bases to being pricey for a time and then go down) things definitely need to change before I pull my hair out xD. Also everyone is sick of seeing the most basic-ass wolves as chased. It's extremely frustrating. |
