Edwin turned back to the captain. "Don't be. Right now, you need to learn that you can't do everything yourself. You are strong, hell, stronger than I ever hope to be. But that doesn't mean that you cannot accept a little help sometimes. Even the strongest need someone to rely on." Edwin spoke. "I had to learn that myself. It's a hard lesson to learn, but a necessary one."

Raine nodded, continuing their watch on the radar.

She huffed. "Yeah. I'm also not used to having a mage on the ship. But hey, if you think you can do better, be my guest. I have things to do," She hadn't really stayed snapped out of the bs state her magic had put her into but she was slowly getting there. The shield faltered, her magic deciding it was done helping her but not wanting anybody to get killed.

Rover sighed, shifting her position so she could sit more comfortably.

Edwin put up a shield behind her. "I didn't say I could do better, I said that I could help, which is why we should head to the pilot room so that we can put up a stronger shield where we will get hit instead of wasting energy on one place," Edwin said.

Raine kept their eyes on the radar. I don't see anything yet, but we can never be too sure I think. Raine said as they tried to remember how the saying went.

Kaiyora hissed. The shield almost went down. "Yeah, they're bad at their jobs," she growled.

"You can," she sighed, her eyes glowing a little as she pushed her magic's hatred for her down so she could think straight. "I'm pretty sure I can't stand up right now or I'll fall. Damn magic."
