Kaiyora nodded. "It's alright. That was Earth. Home to humans, mages, and other species. Until it got blown up, but that's unrelated." The Captain sounded almost wishful as she spoke. It had been 40 years since she'd been on earth. Since things had gone wrong. She missed those days.

Raine looked at the painting again. It looks beautiful Raine said softly.

Edwin nodded and sat in the co pilot seat. "I'm mostly curious on how this ship works."

"Hmm, well, what's the main metal the ships made of?" Edwin asked.

"Usually some form of steel or iron. This one though is silver so it doesn't screw with the Captain's magic."

Edwin nodded. "Silver is heavier and harder to get control of. So is there more rockets on it?"

"It was peaceful, mostly." She was mostly talking to herself now.

Rover shook her head. "It really has nothing to do with control but alright. No, there aren't more rockets."

Raine silently listened. Raine used to love hearing the older people talk about earth when she was little. But as she grew older more and more people either stopped talking about earth or forgot about it.

"I meant its like harder to turn, because its heavier." Edwin explained. "There aren't?"

"Of course there were still species disagreements, but humans were better back then. So were magic users. Now it's just fight, fight, fight, somebody gets hurt, and fight some more."

"I'm old." She sighed. "There aren't as far as I know. That's something you'd have to ask the Captain. She's the ship nerd. I'm just the mechanic that knows how to make things go."

Raine listened intently. They wished that earth was here again,but knowing it could not be they sighed softly.
