|| Welcome to the Sprootle Forest! ||OPEN!________________________________________________________________________________________________ What are Sprootles???Sprootles are small creatures that live and thrive in any sort of terrain or environment, and silly little guys who burrow in the dirt. Born from seeds, they tend to create what is called a "Wood" or "Forest" when together, although they are not actually much larger than your household potato. While they may seem like it, these little fellows are NOT food!! Their leaves can hold special properties that can be used as herbs or teas, and have a surprisingly large pool of mutations in their propagation. Farmers may be enticed by this new "farm" animal, but these docile creatures are endangered! Sprootles are not domesticated, and yet they still rely on others- on you- in order to survive in this harsh world. With predators at every corner, it's easiest to plant their seeds and make their dens within the protection of a greater being. ________________________________________________________________________ Stumbling through a forest known to the folk and fae, little fairy lights guided the path along worn stones. You come across an old hickory tree with a hollowed-out entrance with a collection of various mismatched seeds. Little sprouts of leaf sprung from small cervices, revealing that these odd seedlings were bound to hatch soon! Interesting. Would you like to take one to your nest and see if it'll grow for you? _______________________________________________________________________ || RULES! ||- All artwork, all lineart, color and design, is made by me! You may make personal art of your Sprootles, but that is not to share on outside apps such as DeviantArt or Toyhouse, nor to sell. - Trading Sprootles (after notifying me) with either a fair SC price or Sprootle to Sprootle, is acceptable. You may also trade them back to me for Shop Credit for them to go into the adoption center! (hopefully this will help anyone wanting one but unable to get a seedling be able to join in) - Be nice! It costs 100 SC to propagate two Sprootles! The most common pairing seems to be Blooms and Pollens, which are the two "genders" of the Sprootle world. It's essentially the "Flowers reproduce through the following steps12345: Pollen is moved from one flower to another by wind or insects (pollination). Pollen reaches the new flower and travels to the ovary where it joins with egg cells (ovules) to make seeds (fertilization). The seeds are scattered by animals or the wind (dispersal). Some of the seeds will germinate and grow into new plants." Breeding Studs! ?? maybe?? |
