Star saw him look around and quickly tried to back up and hide, but ended up tripping backwards. "Ow!" She said when her paw twisted at an odd angle.

Star was on her side holding her paw close to her body, her ears flat with pain. She looked far skinnier than she should despite smelling of a pack. Usually, packs were weak and bigger. But she seemed lean and far too skinny. When he neared she growled low in her throat, puffing her fur to seem bigger.

Star pushed herself against the tree behind her, growling more, looking panicked, her purple-looking eyes darting around, her ears flat on her head as she involuntarily let out a small whimper.

Shadow lowered himself down to the ground, tucking his tail trying to make himself look less threatening "Im not gonna hurt you I promise " he said as he slowly got closer trying to see her paw

Star growled again but it was softer, pulling her injured paw closer, still slightly panicking but seeing him lowering himself she was a bit less frightened, but still tried to move away.

"Please.. let me help you.." he said making his voice as soft as possible his belly was touching the ground now, for some reason this female touched him in a way he didn't even know her name but he already developed a soft side for her it was stupid that's for sure

Star whimpered, but gently put her hurt paw forward. Hiding her face with her other paw, feeling scared still, but somehow trusting this wolf.
