Star nodded. "Second in command in my pack, my Mother is the Alpha." She said, sitting down to take some strain off of her injured paw. "When my mother steps down I will become Alpha." She said, not talking about how her mother could also die.

Star's tail wagged a bit. "I am mostly in charge of ordering patrols to freshen the border and hunting parties. I also help my mother lead a lot since she wants me to learn as much as I can from here before she steps down in a few moons." Star said with a smile on her face.

Star nodded. "Mhm, since I could not do my usual patrol for a bit I'm doing double the patrols for a few days to make up for it." Star explained, tail sweeping some loose grass into a small pile to the side.
