Echostar

Echostar chuckled then stood up. Looking at the clouds, he decided by sun-high, it would start raining.
"I'll get some last-minute hunting in, then we can continue this conversation." he said.
Echostar walked out of camp, focused on looking for prey. He spotted a robin pecking near a beech tree, unaware of the approaching cat. Crouching, Echostar shimmied up to the bird, and with one large pounce, landed with the bird pinned down. Quickly finishing it off, he buried the prey underneath the roots of the tree and moved on. After a while, he had accumulated so much prey he'd need to bring it back in two hauls. He stuffed the robin and two squirrels into his jaw and went back to camp, placing them down. When he went back to the beech tree though, raindrops started pitter pattering and he broke into a sprint. By the time he got to the tree, Echostar was soaked. Quickly gathering the damp prey, he ran back to camp, taking long strides. He put down most of haul, keeping the soaked finch for himself. Sneezing, Echostar went back into his den, shivering and wet.
