Echostar watched the apprentice step up, shaking his pelt of in excitement.
"Quickkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Quickpaw. Your mentor will be Batclaw. I hope Batclaw will pass down all they know on to you."

Barely paying attention to the meeting, I jekred, head snapping up to find the clan Staring expectantly at me. Did he say my name? Padding forward, I leaned down, touching noses with the small, eager apprenrice. Im going to have fun breaking you

Echostar was surprised with the glint in Batclaw's eyes but shook it off.
"This meeting is dismissed."
Echostar leaped down from his perch and walked over to Batclaw.
"I'm going hunting, if anyone asks, tell them, will you?"
Then he trotted out of camp.
