Strange because literally the text said the next part of the story would be available on the 7th.

(Also I am looking at the bug report and I am not seeing this information anywhere on it? Is there a second bug report that wasn't linked?)

Yeah, I really don't understand how that happened. The refuse option had a short branching path, so maybe that was what was supposed to start on the 7th and it was just coded wrong? And they were both supposed to start chapter 2 on the 11th? That's just speculation, I have 0 clue. It's really confusing how that was even possible.

I've noticed this pending bug, players who choose the kora line will get stuck on the difficulty of this quest, including myself. My friends who chose the witch line have basically completed their quests, have access to more magic spells, and can continue to earn more ME by fighting ordinary creatures in their explores. I feel like this should be part of the balance change, I'm not sure if any developers have noticed this.

@MʏsteʀʏYan₪玄妙 I really do have to agree there. I've been online consistently using my energy (it hasn't gotten full , highest was 80% ) & I've only found 1 corrupted creature since I did my rollover 4 and a half hours ago.

Edit. Just used 4 Guarana, I only got 1 more corrupted creature, so now I'm at 2 of 10 :/ . 		Ironbeast

Two corrupted creatures all day for me. And yeah much as the bug report says, before I got the next bit of questline I was seeing corrupted creatures left and right and now they've all but vanished.

(Also am I still supposed to be able to sacrifice things for vigor when I apparently can't use spells anymore?)

In any case I do feel a bit like I cheated myself out of an entire part of the storyline since I no longer seem to have spell access at all, after sacrificing several items for vigor I can no longer use, assuming that both sides of the storyline would simply give me different spells.

That's ture, not being able to complete the quest will result in not being able to access the spells page that you have learned before. If I'm not mistaken, if you refuse to follow the witch at first, you'll also get one day less magic spells than the player who chooses to follow the witch.

And I'm confused about the mechanics of when choose the witch line that still retains the ability to corrupt normal animal NPCs  in battle and gain ME after completing the mission. If you choose the kora line, as far as I know so far, heal animals will not give us ME, and corrupting animals have far fewer enemies than normal animal NPCs, whether this is also an imbalance, I'm not sure.

Agree with MʏsteʀʏYan₪玄妙!!! I've only healed 4 animals so far and I even used some stuff to fullfill my energy! And healing cannot get ME like defeating corrupted animals, but corrupting normal animals can even get ME! I just don't know how many days will it takes until I finish this mission. I can't use magic, and cannot get as many ME as those who chose witch line from battling.
