I find it easier to just play the game with just the wolves and I don't bother with the event, it really unnecessary 		🐺Josephine🐺

I'm very disappointed there's not even been so much as an acknowledgement from the dev team that this is massively screwed up.
I'd rather the event just be pulled at this point and have it be unfinished like it was last year and have both reward sets added to Mohkra's shop instead.
After the debacle of Cataclysms, its really starting to feel like things are being rushed without testing. And then we pay the price in our frustration, time, and sometimes even money.
Either make sure it works with minimal impactful bugs (impossible to to find every single bug ever, that's a given) or don't push it out at all. This is turning players away more and more. 		❀Moki❀

Yes I am also seeing fewer corrupted kiddos after getting the restore corrupted creatures quest.

Do we know when spells will return?

The quest has to be finished in order to get spells back. The amount of required enemies has been lowered for the corrupted quest, so check back in to see if you have enough.

I really appreciate lowering the quest goal to 3 encounters! I have to admit, some of the instructions of this event have been kinda vague and a bit trickier to follow (especially considering we're supposed to pick a side at some point, I'd assume) but otherwise I'm pretty content with the concept of witches and spells!
