Were the decors awarded completely random? I'm confused because there appear to be multiple companion decors in the wardrobe but if only one is awarded at the end of the storyline I can only guess it's completely random which one you get. Which is a bit of a disappointment.

I think it's decide by the choice u make rather than random.

I have been checking/asking. From what I can tell, pick Witches and stick with them and you get Saligia. Pick Kora, but Let Saligia live, and you get Kora. Pick Kora and Let Saligia Die and you get Namir. 		🐾 Murra Dire Wolpard🍀🐾

decide to help neither side when corrupt kora attack the witches (twice as I remembered) gives that decor.

I really wanted to like this quest, but even if there had been no bugs, I think the storyline - and specifically the choices - need a lot more clarification for it to not be both confusing & frustrating to people trying to go in blind.

I was intentionally setting out to side with the witches - however in agreeing to talk to Kora, which I assumed would just be a side option that I could maybe decide which way to go with later, it locked me in to siding against the witches, with no apparent later recourse for being able to switch back.

Lioden quests, like the July event, often have subtext with choices that make it very clear what the immediate consequence will be - for example, one July option is "Follow Menhit (Apedemak's reputation will reset)" vs "Deceive (Menhit's reputation will reset)".

This event could immensely benefit from something like that, especially if there are no options for switching sides later on; Lioden has several events that allow for you to switch sides (up to a point) as well, but nothing like that was available here in spite of my hopes I'd be able to switch back before the end. [edit: and if there was... well, that just furthers my point about a lack of clarity to quest choices.]

another user in chat also summarized this chief complaint pretty well:
🐾Alymiell🐾 (#18317) my main issue with the story was that you got locked into a path to one decor just by asking Kora a question.

I do agree that this event felt a little more vague. Usually it seems like we get a little more guidance if we want to choose a specific path to get certain items. I'm a little disappointed, but at the end of the day I've got items in my hoard I didn't have before that didn't cost me anything so I'm better off today game-wise than I was yesterday.
