Crystal shook out her pelt as she sniffed at the herbs laid across to her on the rock in front of her. "None of these have worked so far.. Everyone is just getting sicker.." Crystal's ears lowered as she sighed deeply, looking down, taking a deep breath to control herself before she grabbed a few other herbs into her maw, trotting out of the den and into the leaders den, her danglies clicking against each other as she walked, her horn orb that she had obtained a while ago from a quest glowed softly as it always did, finally she slipped into the den, making sure to be as quiet as possible just in case the leader was asleep, because the leader did not get much sleep anymore due to coughs.

"Sandy? Are you awake?" Crystal asked softly, wincing when she heard the leader cough hard before trying to catch wheezing breaths. Letting out a soft sigh she walked forward, nudging the herbs from her maw near Sandy's nose. "Eat these, they might help.." Crystal said before looking to the wolf that was stationed to watch over Sandy. "Has anything different been happening?" Crystal asked, her head lowering slightly to how her worry and concern for her leader.

The blue/black wolf shook her head. "She's only gotten worse by the hour. If we could get permission to go out and look for clues- for a cure- we might be able to do something-" she stopped, realizing her voice had slowly started to rise. "We can't keep living like this." She finished quietly. The wolf; her name was Ascension; had been pushing to go out of the pack and search ever since the illness had caught one of the scouts almost a year ago- though the scout had gotten better and the sickness was thought gone.

If we don't get permission to search I'm going out on my own. I can't let the pack live like this. Prey is almost extinct, the wolf thought. She was the head of the hunters, more commonly addressed as Master or Hunt Master, so her pack was her priority. Her pack and her pride. 		TheCCTwins

"If we go look for a cure or clues, we could bring more sickness with us without realizing.. I'm sure I can find the right herbs to fix this. I'm sure I can." Crystal insisted, her purple eyes looking around as her ears lowered. She had been staying up for days on end to figure out how to make their leader better, overworking herself to the point of collapse, not taking care of herself. Crystal had not managed to get a break in the past 2 days, working on getting the leader back up and better, but nothing was working and if anything she was just getting worse with every new herb going into the leaders mouth. Crystal shook her head out of her thoughts, focusing back onto Ascension. "We can't afford our pack weakening because we send people out there, where they could also get sick and die." Crystal said, looking around as she tried to figure out what to do, looking at Ascension.

"Or you could die and then what happens!" the hunter snarled, rising to her paws. "We cannot let the pack live in this hell! Collateral damage is bound to happen no matter what!" Her tail lashed, ears pinned back with anger. "If you don't want to come, I'll go! It would do us a damn good favor if you came though!" she was in no position to order anybody around right now, her own rank lower than the healer's. 		TheCCTwins

Crystal's ears lowered as she looked at the leader. "Who will watch over Sandy? The pack? What if more wolves get sick.. There are a number of reasons nobody should leave camp right now. Not even you." Crystal said, beginning to pace, the stress from the few days making her fur poke out from the jewels wrapped around her body. Crystal's ears were pinned now as her tail lashed, not from anger, but from stress and worry, mixing into one and making it hard for her to think or reason with anything that was happening.
