He nodded as he bit into the tough flesh of the lizard. He had been hesitant at first to try one as an apprentice though had come to actually enjoy the taste and liked them very much. "Like a kit tucked close to its mother." He answered her after he had swallowed, his eyes shining happily. These past days he had slept very well and had been in high spirits though then again he was always in high spirits. "What about you?" |

Dawnflare purred at Brackenleaf's response. His happiness was infectious. "I'm glad to hear that," she meowed, taking another bite of her vole. "I slept well too, though I had a strange dream about chasing a butterfly that kept turning into a fish!" She chuckled at the memory. Settling down comfortably, Dawnflare's eyes sparkled with her usual warmth. "It's been peaceful lately, hasn't it? I hope it stays that way for a while." "Do you have any plans for today?" she asked with curiosity. "Maybe we can go for a walk later and enjoy the sunshine. It's too beautiful a day to spend entirely in camp." She smiled. |
