Uncanny valley effect in the Halloween Spectacle

Uncanny valley effect in the Halloween Spectacle

Hello!
I hope to add a 'face vision' shutdown option.Just like someone fears spiders.

I feel very, very uncomfortable when a human face appears on an animal's face.I use a translator, so there may be a stiff tone. I just really want to emphasize the distress this fear has caused me and my friends.
When animals with human faces appear, I can ignore them.
But the task requires us to change them, causing the human face to instantly change, which is very frightening. Yes, this kind of frightening thought is very good, but when it turns into a fear of not wanting to continue, it is very uncomfortable. Therefore, I hope to add a button to help us turn off human faces.

I hope this suggestion can be adopted.
Thank you.

To avoid misunderstandings caused by Facial Phobia,New term definition added: 'uncanny valley effect' .
To avoid misunderstandings caused by the translator, it is emphasized again. If the button is added, it will not affect player who are not afraid.Regarding the specific images that need to be replaced,Welcome to friendly discussion. If you provide pictures, please warn in advance and use the Spoiler function.
Thank you.

Sorry!Due to the fact that most players who are afraid of this may find it difficult to take screenshots (I can't do it either.I will skip as soon as I encounter it, but without my knowledge, it may suddenly change due to the task at hand)hope the wolvden can help with this dilemma.
Thanks again!

Replacement of more comprehensible terms in the title.
face vision to uncanny valley effect.
My description of the former is "Animals/coyotes and dogs or others that have human faces." And for image changes in Corrupt. Since we weren't fully informed about this before entering the fight.Or in the vast majority of cases, uninformed.

It's just a metaphor:It's like a "spider jumped on your face" kind of scare.

If there are other more specific terms or terminology, feel free to respond to make this discussion more specific.

No support; Ive seen just ONE human-faced animal in october at all  - coyote pack. You can explore biomes that dont have them if you're so afraid of them. Or just not fight/corrupt a coyote\coyote pack, just pass it by and corrupt the next enemy, that is not a coyote or coyote pack. All other enemies do NOT turn into human faced animals when corrupted, they have different horror elements. For most animals its just some fire/horns/spikes.

That's way too rare phobia and WAY too specific and not-widespread thing to be afraid of, combined with there being an extremely limited chance of even meeting one in explore (its only found on ONE kind of enemy, that is not found in all biomes, only some of them), to make a specific site-wide toggle of it. The toggle for arachnophobia is there because there's a lot of people afraid of spiders. But this? You might be the only person on the web Ive ever seen to have this extremely rare phobia.

I support. Though I don't afraid of those human-like animals, but I know many one who did not like them. I believe most people who has common sense would know or at least ever heard the uncanny valley effect . It is quite normal that people will get psychological discomfort when seeing something looks like human but not completely human, especially on facial features. In fact it might be even more common than arachnophobia. And we know Wolvden is inclusive. Through the spider option we could see they really considered and respect player's feels.

If spoken of a broader "human" imagery, then the toggle should include simply all images involving humanoid things in general - hunters, skull shaped rocks, trees with faces, etc. Just blocking ONE coyote image will not help in that case - which is what I am not supporting, making a toggle for ONE image (that is not even found in all biomes) is an overkill.

I've said clearly that uncanny valley effect is about non-human things. Human themselves not included, and it is also what the topic owner means. If you don't trust you can search what it is on your own. And it is just an option, if it was added you can just simply don't open it. It won't affect you, but it is necessary for those who really need it.

If I understand correctly, and it is just the coyote, and only when you're healing it, why couldn't you just skip it and fight/heal something else?

I remembered that the corrupted feral dogs group also have human faces. Even if you don't corrupt a normal coyote, you may still meet a corrupted one while exploring. Similar to the spider encounters. And I remember that spider encounters are not very common too.
