Posted 2024-10-12 12:06:06 (edited) #1300666 ‧ ⊹ nerisei's adopt shop ⊹ ‧ hello! my name is nerisei (ner for short). welcome to my adopt shop :) ⟢ my adopts are inspired by characters from the webcomic, Golden Shrike, but you can of course ignore the GS affiliation and purchase them as simple deer adopts. ⟢ new adopts will drop every week or after at least 3/4 of the current adoptables are sold, whichever is faster! ⟢ payments will be completed via Trading Center (GC) or PayPal (USD) through Ko-fi. i will hold adopts for 48 hours, but if payment isn't made after 48 hours, they will go back on my shop. ⟢ all of these adopts will be posted to my Ko-fi and on Wolvden at the same time. if you buy the adopt from Ko-fi, you'll receive it immediately, but if you order it via Wolvden, there may be a delay depending on when I receive payment/when I see your message. ⟢ it is possible for someone to beat you to an adopt! if you place a GC order here, but someone buys it off of Ko-fi, I will not be able to accept your order, so if you urgently want an adoptable, I highly suggest buying it through Ko-fi. if you've already sent me GC payment, I will immediately send you a refund as I cannot sell the same adopt twice! ‧ ⊹ The Nursery [WIP] ⊹ ‧

welcome to the Nursery!
have some lore you'd like to fulfill?
wanna see how your OC's babies look?

in the Nursery, you can breed any two of your deer. here's how it works:

‧ ⊹ Breeding Mechanics ⊹ ‧

⟢ when you breed two of your deer, your fawn(s) will, for the most part, inherit the traits below from its parents.

⟢ base color
⟢ marking shape and color
⟢ eye color
⟢ antler color(s)
⟢ species (coming soon)

⟢ randomized breeding: gender, number of fawns per breeding, and mutations are randomized by default.

⟢ specific results can be controlled at an extra cost.

⟢ gestation = 4 rollovers (amt of time until fawn is born)

⟢ breeding cooldown = 7 rollovers
⟢ fawns will also take 7 rollovers to age up to adulthood.

⟢ inbreeding is allowed, but excessive inbreeding will eventually cause miscarriages or lethal mutations depending on how inbred the fawn is.

‧ ⊹ The Nursery Fees ⊹ ‧

⟢ so what exactly do you get from a visit to the Nursery?
⟢ well it depends on the package!

RNG Package	Custom Package
⟢ gender = RNG ⟢ # fawns = 1-2 (RNG) ⟢ mutations = RNG, inbreeding ⟢ RNG Package fee (flat rate) $2 USD \| 10 GC	⟢ gender = you pick! ⟢ # fawns = 1-5 (you pick!) ⟢ mutations = you pick! ⟢ Custom Package fee (per fawn) $3 USD \| 15 GC

⟢ all fawns born in the nursery come with birth certificates.

@kai: no worries! #1 is inspired by a harlequin (a clown/jester type character). if you're on lioden, the markings kind of look like the harlequin pie marking!
