He paused scenting something that most certainly didn't belong in the forest.what? A kit? he thought padding towards the scent after hiding his kill.The scent got stronger and a tiny tom came into view Bengal star paused looking at the kit confused.

He stood there a moment longer then realized he was probably scaring the fur off the poor thing and he laid down to try and been a bit less threatening."why are you alone kit?" He asked keeping his voice calm and soft much different from if he had been talking to a warrior or apprentice.

He tilted his head slightly "not a talker? That's fine" he mewed tail flicking side to side debating what to do.He chuckled quietly at the kits grumbling stomach "hungry? You look about 2 or 3 moons,guessing you weaned or at least mostly weaned based on you don't have a milky scent" he said partly to himself.

He took a few steps back to see if the kit was actually going to follow or if he was going to need to carry him.had there been a parent he would of likely told them to leave but he couldn't just leave a kit alone especially with so many hawks and other things that would eat up a kit like a leaf!
