Sniffing my bandaged paw, nose wrinkling at the smell coming from it. Standing slowly, I placed my paw down, jerking it back up with a sharp hiss as it throbbed with pain. Sighing, I glanced around for Slothstep, spotting the tom. Limping gingerly over to the tom, I sat down, prodding his flank with my uninjured paw before shoving my injured paw in his face. His nose scrunched at his flank being poked, head turning to the kits leg. "I ain't blind but I ain't deaf. And I know you ain't mute. Your throat should feel better anyway- threw in some soothing herbs yesterday." He mewed, tail whipping. |

I frowned, narrowing my eyes as I jerked my paw up to my muzzle, gingerly peeling off the cobwebs, revealing a swollen pad with puss oozing out, and thrusting it back at him with a pointed glance. |

This'll be fun, better make sure the little bugger doesn't get attached- he rolled his eyes "What's the magic word?" He teased, the sight and smell was rather disgusting but he wanted to make this worthwhile. |

This-this cocky brat! I gaped at him, brow furrowing and eyes hardening into an icy glare, though I couldn't help the slight twitch of my lip, amusement and annoyance bubbling in my chest. "Thought it was you're job?" I coraked, trying to sound cold and mean, but my voice was still hoarse from lack of use, though it didn't hurt quite as much as yesterday. |

"That's what I thought. Now hold still, and- probably look away." He mewed He carefully removed and discarded the rest of kits old bandaging, cleaning the infection as rough as he could without hurting the kit too much. He balled up cobwebs and dabbed the infection, trying to remove as much puss as possible before applying new bandaging and herbs. "Eat these. Help with the frog in your throat and the inflammation." |

Gritting my teeth, eyes stinging from the rough treatment and pain. As soon as he wrapped a clean bandage on, I lapped up the herbs, dipping my head in quick thanks before limping back over to my nest and settling down. My stomach choosing to rumble at that moment. |
