He took a glance at the kit before passing out of his den. Returning a few moments later with a small squirrel. "Eat it, or don't and starve." He mewed sharply, turning back to his work. He could be rough and cold- he was rough and cold, but it was very rare he actually wanted to make someone feel pain. So he'd do what it took to keep the people in his den from feeling pain, even if they were a loner or rogue. A cat is a cat, your background doesn't matter as long as your future is better. |

Dipping my head, I tore into the squirrel, gulping it down in quick, ravage bites. When only a pile of bones and fur was left, I laid back with a satisfied sigh, taking a moment to clean the blood from my muzzle and laying my head on my paws. "Thanks," I whispered, the words barely audible as I watched the tom work. |

He paused, waiting a moment, before continuing. He'd bring it up later. He enjoyed the silence, for now, working peacefully at a steady pace. There were more herbs than usual- mainly because he could gather more now that it was prime newleaf. But it seemed easier to simply gather herbs from horizonclan instead of trading for them. Nothing had been brought up, and nobody had caught him yet. |

I growled, lip curling in anger, as I tucked my nose under my tail, stared quietly at the moss underpass. It was lush green, fresh and thick, though a few pieces were starting to brown and wither. Almost time to clean out the nest |

"There should be a warrior coming in tomorrow to refresh the moss. Of course they never do it properly and so I must fix them." He grumbled, "I believe this week it's SpringGoose. But I may be wrong. That little cat can't maneuver this territory at all- don't know why we keep him around." He paused, "mm, I don't believe you've met SpringGoose, right? Or FinWhisker. Though he isn't necessarily a warriorβ¦" |

Glancing up sharply, I nodded at his words, surprised that he was being so talkative and friendly almost. I yawned, sniffing my paw, the pain having eased some. |

"Wouldn't hurt for you to meet some of the warriors now, after all from what BengalStar has said you might be joining us long term." His ear twitched. "Though the issue on your name might be a setback." He changed subjects, sort of, "You'll probably get along well with SpringGoose, he isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the box but he can understand most social cues. As for FinWhisker- depends on if you'll ever meet him." |

Join them?! When did that become a possibility?! Who said i was joining? Though if everyones like this, it might not be a bad idea. Free food, clean nests, a warm place to sleep, and irritating cats. |
