vellar wrinkled her snout and replied in a sarcastic joking tone, "was looking forward to it alllll night."

varuna chuckled at vera's joke and dipped his head, "thank you for teaching our hunters, vera. i don't believe i introduced myself, i am varuna. queen saraswati sent me out to 'watch' our hunters and make sure they were behaving but if you would allow, i would love to participate in the lessons you have planned."

"thank you," varuna said, dipping his head. he then stepped back and glanced at the two wolves he knew were fastest hunters.

there was a moment of hesitation before marusudar and one of the new wolves, sarju, stepped up from the other hunters. marusudar dipped his head toward the familiar wolf while sarju bowed his head further down to introduce himself, "i am sarju. i have been waiting to meet you."

marusudar raised his eyebrow at the statement, same wtih sarju. the other new wolf, suvi, wrinkled her snout as she thought of the awful things that they would do while vellar let out a loud, amused laugh. "starting easy I see," the female joked with a grin, catching a glare from krishna.

the hunters began to follow vera. varuna, krishna, marusudar, and sarju were in the front. suvi was beside sarju but lagged a little behind as she looked around, narrowing her eyes as a group of birds flew from the trees.

vellar and meghna stayed more in the back though the two kept quite a bit of distance from each other.

"good catch," varuna praised, looking at the snow white hare in amazement. marusudar and sarju nodded their heads in agreement.

vellar on the other paw, snorted. "how could we when you jumped on it so quickly?" she said with her head up high. she then began walking ahead of the group, "i bet I can catch one too, watch." she then turned back to the other wolves to show off a smile. though, rather than support, she was met with krishna rolling her eyes and suvi wrinkling her snout.

"meghna with her wounded nose would have a better chance than you," krishna huffed as she caught up to vellar, challenging the other wolf.
