"Varuna,meghna your two will be a pair,meghna will be the prey first" she said blinked then spoke again "vellar,Suvi you two will be a pair,vellar be prey first" she said blinking slowly "sarju and marusudar,you two will be another pair,with sarju as prey first" she said then looked at Krishna "you will be with me,if you don't mind that is" she said

the pairings had.. mixed reactions.

varuna flashed a smile at meghna and the female lowered her gaze, pinning her ears against her head.

upon hearing that she was paired with vellar, suvi's snout wrinkled slightly. at least she prepared for the worst. vellar's jaw dropped slightly and she turned to the smaller beige colored wolf. vellar huffed and said, "i don't be easy." the other female narrowed her eyes and nodded, "i expected nothing less."

marusudar flicked his tail, it wasn't the best pairing but it wasn't the worst either. he dipped his head cordially to sarju, who did the same.

when vera announced that she would be krishna's partner, she dipped her head. "I would be honored," she praised, "who will be prey first?"

"Any problems can be directed to me,though they better not exist in the first place" she said then looked at Krishna "I'll be the prey first" she said thought for a moment and lifted her head "the first kind of prey will be deer,their fast,and have good hearing,approach directly from behind and be SILENT" she said confidently

the prey wolves nodded, thought with varying levels of confidence. same with the 'hunters'.

vellar stretched and shook off her fur. "do we get a head start or something? make the hunters close their and scatter?" she asked, ending with grin as she thought of ways to make it as hard as possible for suvi.

krishna flicked her tail, biting back whatever words she had for vellar.

"Since deer are herd animals all prey will group up and choose a spot,hunters must stay put for 3 minutes so the deer can get where their going,make sense?" She said flicking an ear

the wolves nodded and the prey wolves began to gather closer to vera while the hunters stayed where they were.

"what are the limits on fighting back? am I locked to kick," vellar asked, kicking her legs in the air. she seemed excited though maybe not for the right reason.

"Deer are allowed to kick and nip at the hunters BUT,anyone gets hurt and we will have a problem" she said her voice stern as she gazed at a few specific of the wolves

vellar rolled her eyes before adding, "and the same for the hunters right? I don't want anyone sinking their teeth into my neck. or anywhere else."

suvi wrinkled her snout, offended by the mere suggestion she would do that while krishna flicked her tail in irritation.

varuna frowned slightly at how the hunters were acting but he shook it off and forced a laugh. "I think vellar is just worried about others getting too caught up into their role but i'm sure we all know that this is just practice," he said smoothly, narrowing his eyes at vellar. "let's get started before we waste too much time," he suggested, turning back to vera, "howl when you're ready for the hunters to begin."

"just making sure," vellar said with a forced smile before joining the other 'deer'.
