Hello. I couldn't find any detailed study so I'm asking about your experieces. I know that 3 things can help you get a random mutation: lowest fertility, juniper (lowers fertility) and wolf meat. Does it really change the tiny chance of getting mutations? What are your experiences with these items?

Edit: juniper berries help a lot! They give more genetic mutations but less carriers

Yes! Lowering the fertility helps quite a lot.
My first time breeding carriers was a complete failure due to my female having ~80 fertility. Not a single carrier in a litter of 5!!
The next breeding I lowered her fertility down to less than 10, and I was able to get the mutation and a carrier in the same litter of 3 pups!

If it's too expensive or difficult to get the wolf meat or any other breeding items, I would definitely lower the fertility as much as possible at the least
