People are terrified of the unknown, of darkness, danger.. They all know that. Most of them feed off of the emotion, some of them are crippled by it's counterpart, but they all know what it looks like. What fear looks like. The blaze in one's eye as they stare into an abomination's captivating gaze, the twitching movement made while petrified. It amuses them.. And he is no exception.
⦓ 𝚂𝚒𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚛 ⦔ When triggered Simper hosts a beastly grin of off-white fangs and sharp molars, often clenching a flaming rope doll in his maw as a sign of omen and terror. No one knows what happens if you attempt to put the flame out without his consent. The sight of his grin can and will result in severe psychosis in Unwanted individuals. Otherwise Simper is often very gentle like and sarcastic, usually judging you from the cover of the shadows. In his normal state he usually holds a affiliative smile as to keep his subject calm. He is drawn to sites of chaos, confusion, agony, and overstimulating emotions where he makes the decision on who's Helpless and which is Unwanted. He feeds off of these emotions, in turn either becoming triggered or causing horrible reality distortion. Unlike the associated Smile Dog, Simper does not have an online presence and does not spread by infected articles. He simply shows up. Simper has been in situations where he and the iconic husky have had a quarrel or two over victims, leading to his dislike of the abomination. The panic caused by Smile often leads Simper to the cursed individual where he is unfortunately unable to help them as Smile has done severe damage already. - -{ Short Background }- - Simper was taken by an outsider pack before he really could know his parents. They captured him thinking he was the heir of a rival pack but eventually realized their mistake. His husky appearance made him look like the domesticated mutt they often drove off, causing them to treat him like so. A bonded pair took pity on him and called them their son, raising him outside of the pack den to prevent the members from causing more harm, however the pack had already decided to get rid of the two and the pup to "keep the pack pure" as they shunned anything outside their standards. Simper had learned of this plot to destroy his adoptive parents, but before he could sneak away without being caught they discovered his hiding place, chasing him until they reached the outside den. Apollo and Velvet fought until he could escape, however one wolf, Beta -NAME-, trailed him. They ran until hitting the Killdare Crag where Simper had lost his footing, tumbling down the steepest cliffside within a two day walk. ".. you are my enemy, MY enemy.." After he regained his bearings and realized there was no hope in trying to move his aching body, Simper accepted his fate as void food. Until the terrifying sensation of teeth wrapped around his sides. A translucent wolf of dark fog and black essence lifted him into the air, clambering up the cliff and onto the other side. Their piercing eyes tore into Simper's gaze, and as he let out a soft whimper, they laughed. His unfortunate happenings were their lucky day. "Why, such a pitiful scrap.. Oh how terrible you look. Rest.. You'll thank me later in life." her voice hissed with each letter, fur bristling as if fighting an unseen entity. Simper didn't want to trust her, but the sweet calling of darkness coaxed him into slumber. The wolf had picked the miserable pup up again to carry him towards her corner of the world. " You are my enemy. " ~ Currently under works. Contains Errors. ~ Might delete/rework. Not vibing with the wording very well. Told to leave, to escape, to run until his legs gave, the coal colored pup had narrowly slipped by the tangled roots of oak before a sharp maw snapped behind the tip of his little tail. Howls of loathing trailed closely, following the scrap through every thicket and thorn in their path. |
