Maybe it's because you have 4 in one herd and I don't trust you to maintain over 6 deer.

Character name: Sprouting-Fern
Gender/pronouns: Trans Female (she/her)
Orientation: Pansexual/Panromantic
Personality:
    Sprout is as gentle-natured as she is softspoken.  She is inquisitive and observant, often tucking herself quietly against the edges of social circles to ambiently immerse herself in the company of others.  She is quiet on her feet and any time spent away from her herd is usually taken with indulging herself in her curiosities between foraging and seeking new Sweetfern growth with the season's changes.
    The two-legged Feeders are such strange little things.  Dangerous, yes, but fascinating all the same.  Every living thing has purpose and place, even the sharp-toothed wolves and mountain cats.  But the reason behind these peculiar furless creatures' existence eludes her.  And she wants to know.  Sometimes it's a little easy to find herself distracted, tailing the two-legs from afar when they venture too close to her herd's territory.
    She has yet to have been sighted by one of them-- and intends to keep it as such.  Her heart lies within her family-- even when her little escapades lead her too far from home (and leave her returning well after the moon is high).

Likes/interests: sweets - especially the taste of honeysuckle in the Newsun / rain / hoarding and hiding in the Newmoon leaves that blend perfectly with her fur / watching humans in secret and collecting any trinkets they lose or leave behind
Dislikes: deep rivers / exaggerated kindness without reason (for fear of manipulative intent) / dry foods
Relations: pair-bonded to her mate, a Thorold's deer named Elm-Hide (she is much smaller than him, but he is a gentle giant)
Appearance: very small with a delicate stature, lined with soft red fur, accented in dapples of white and shades of brown / the whites of her limbs and face are freckled with red
Role: Gatherer (but sometimes veers amidst her duties to explore)

(Fun Fact:  She has a very slight lisp!)
