Herd of Meadows [CS]

(bases and art made by me!)

________________________

Character name: Elm-Hide
Gender/pronouns: Cis Male (he/him)
Orientation: Bisexual/Biromantic
Personality:
Elm is a gentle giant, aloof and slow-moving.  He is very aware of his size and consciously makes every motion with forethought and intention. Similarly, he is paced and deliberate when he speaks, on the rare occasion he does indulge conversation.  As intimidating as he is in stature, most find Elm only to be quite awkward and obtuse - but kindhearted and easy-going beneath it all.
He is a cautious creature and slow to trust (but fiercely loyal once that trust has been established).  He adamantly avoids any interactions with almost all individuals outside of his own herd and does not share his partner's enthusiasm for Feeder-affairs.  He is by no means skittish, but anxieties to the point of paranoia are not beyond him.
Anger comes slowly, but he can become quite bull-headed and tunnel-visioned if the needs meet the cause.  He does not enjoy conflict but, when it rears its head, he often relies on his intimidating size and heavy stature to intimidate and dissolve disputes before they become true threats.  (Fighting is far from a pleasure, but he is not afraid of it - he just tries to resolve things peacefully first.)
---
Likes/interests: quiet / maintaining the health and presentation of his body and coat / cleanliness / strange fondness for small feral cats (the only creatures outside of his family that he seems to tolerate)
Dislikes: having dirt in his fur / being perceived / roads / open spaces / strangers
Relations: pair-bonded to his mate, a Fallow deer named Sprout (forever scared he is going to trip on her and crush her)
Appearance: very large with a heavy, big-boned stature, lined with rich, light reddish brown fur, accented in some darker patches that blend well in shadows and evening's waning light
Role: Stomper
(Fun Fact: He has a sweet-tooth that he tries to hide!)

Sorry! I used to roleplay a lot so I can get a little carried away.
Let me know if I need to change anything!
I hope I did it right ^^;

I think the art is splendid, though I do find it rather odd that in the graph it shows that he's 6ft disregarding antlers.

It matches the species though, so it works

Yeahhh, Thorold's deer are actually just. Huge.
They're one of the biggest species of deer before you start getting to like-- moose.
Google says they average 3.5 to 4.5 feet at just the shoulders (which was where I tried to line his shoulders up on the ft measurements).
However I can try to make him be smaller if you would prefer! I wouldn't want to ruin any immersion.

Hey, Lemon. Do you perhaps have links to the OOC and RP threads?
