The avian sinner sat on her chair with her wings covering her like a blanket and her legs kicked up over one arm rest, with her head resting on the other. She glanced somewhat curiously over at Hades, who was curled up not unlike a regular dog, and fought a smile. Did—- Did the leader always sleep like that?? That was… reasonable, but something she'd never considered before. She didn't comment on it, just combing her talons through her hair and shutting her eyes herself for a moment or two. |

The female let her tail fall down, it reached the floor and showed just how fluffy it was. With a recent shake, the black tail was unkept and poofed up. Closing her glowing, read eyes to sleep, the leader's ears flopped down onto her head. The odd markings on her face were now fully visible, and the other side of her face was covered in neat, silky hair. |

Kari couldn't fall asleep. She never could. She sighed, stretching out and trying not to let her wings burst aflame again- especially not in the middle of a very flammable office room. She… was feeling pretty bored. She glanced over at Hades, who looked too comfortable to bother. She wished someone, literally anyone, would walk in with some kind of interesting idea. Where was the rest of the Cold Case, anyway?… She frowned. She was sure she and Hades were the first there, but it wasn't *that* early that no one else would show… Eh, whatever. She couldn't quite find the motivation to care. She occupied herself now by messing with a Rubik's Cube. The cubes in Hell had six sides with only slight variations in shades of gray, which was as maddening as it was fascinating. |

The leader had dosed off, and after a while, started to dream. Dream of a different life, where are kinder demon adopted her, and never abandoned her. It didn't last long. A sinner burst into the room. It caused the hellhound to act more like a scared cat than a dog. Looking closer, it was Rosie. With a small sigh, the leader approached her. "You... You can't just burst in here like that, Rosie" |

At the sudden noise, Kari jumped up, the flames on her wings igniting in an instant as she wielded the dull Rubik's Cube like a rock, lifting it up as if to throw it at the intruder. She narrowed her eyes, her feathers flaring out, as if instinctively trying to appear bigger. She blinked, eyeing the sinner up and down. Oh, someone Hades knew. She rolled her eyes, tamping the flames down on her wings as she took her seat again, her head resting in her talons as she propped an elbow up on the arm rest. Her voice was flat. "Who's this, again?" |

"Hm? Oh, this is Rosie. A cannibal overlord" The hellhound told Kari, turning to the sinner. "What do you need?" She asked, the slightest bit annoyed that her nap had been interrupted. |

"Fascinating," Kari replied plainly, but there was a spark of interest hidden in her blue eyes. She leaned forward in her chair, staring ahead at Rosie, then asking quite suddenly with no sense of timing- "Do you eat your demons cooked or raw?" |

The question surprised the hellhound, but Rosie didn't seem to mind. "Oh, it depends on how I'm feeling, but mostly raw. The blood has so much flavour it looses once cooked" The cannibal responded, her sweet voice turning to Kari. With a sigh, Hades sat back down. Where are the others? They should be here by now! |

Kari nodded seriously, though it was clear she had no experience in the matter. She gestured to her flaming wings, a lopsided grin on her beak. "I prefer to cook my food. And… everything else, actually. Fire is so… alluring." She loved fire. "I like to see what happens when I set things on fire." They're going to burn, obviously, but she was always pleasantly surprised by the sight. It was like most of the demons in Hell, it never got old. |

Letting Rosie and Kari talk, the hellhound looked at her phone, and realised the overlord had tried to reach her multiple times. Apparently, the female was wanted in the human realm, and humans were on high alert. |
