Clarisse listened intently, her rose-colored eyes wide as she nodded along. "Mhm…" She glanced towards the cages, and the clipboards next to them, and without a second thought she put her wallet back in her gown. She stepped over with hooves that made noises on the ground like high heels, squinting her eyes to read the papers next to the first cage. "Alright, let's see…" |

Catching sight of a goat with the intent of adoption, she was surprised that the baphomet had walked over to them. The brat looked innocent, and sweet. Oh, how much of a suprise on how they really were they would get. Hades was convinced she would die here, nothing had changed that. |

Clarisse hummed a little tune to break the silence as she read, but from the angle the cages were at it was impossible to tell which page she was on. She lifted a hand to hover over the flame on the candle on her head, a habit she'd picked up to make sure it wasn't burning anything while she stood there. She spoke aloud, her voice hardly audible as she commented, "Ooh… I like that name." |

It's Florine, I know it. The hellhound thought bitterly. The brat gave her a sly smile, they both thought the same. Curling up tighter, Hades gave the other hellhound the middle finger. |

The baphomet scanned the rest of the clipboard, noting details like age, requirements, and the like- then turned to step over to the cages and crouch down in front of the cages holding Hades and Florine. She kept a hand over her flame, her tail wagging slightly. She tapped a hoof on the floor to get their attention, but clearly didn't have to. "Hey, there, lil one…" She looked straight at Hades, offering a light smile, blinking once or twice rather than maintaining unbroken eye contact. "Hades, is it…?" |

She huffed, looking away. Yet, the both of them were equally surprised. Florine, being the bitch she was, tried to talk the goat out of it. "You do know that Hades is incredibly aggressive, right? Are you sure your up to it?" She told the baphomet with a sweet tone, and innocent smile. |

Clarisse just smiled, her face showing no hostility but the flame above her head twisting. It glowed brighter. "I don't know, hon, are you up to stay here another three n a half years?" That was the last thing she said to acknowledge Florine, instead turning to address Hades. "Ignore her, sweetheart. That's what I'd do." She stuck a hoof through the bars of the cage. "Would you like to come home w me…? I didn't expect to be making a detour today, but I think it's worth asking." |

Clarisse just sat down in front of the cage, her own expression patient and understanding. She listened quietly to Hades' words, then replied with an equally certain, "And why wouldn't I? This may be Hell, but everyone deserves a chance at life, don't you think? I know I'm just a silly lil goat girl, but… you'd only have to put up with me for a few months." |
