Zeljka
She listened Drez's words feeling bad for him when she heard about his eye. It must have been difficult for him to adapt, at least she knew she would struggle, if that were to happen to her. However, when she looked at Drez, the male seemed not to let his eye bother him too much and had adapted well.

"Was it... was it difficult to adapt?" Zeljka asked softly almost like her tone was telling that she was terrified that her curious question would offend the new potential friend she had just met. She was curious about him and especially about the things that she didn't know, but she also was scared that she would ask too personal questions, if she wasn't careful enough.

"How come?" Zeljka tilted her head a little upon hearing him to mention that he needed to take better care of himself. What he could possibly mean by that? Was he also struggling to eat like she did? No... it possibly couldn't be that, how could she even dare to think that they would be similar in that aspect... Zeljka tried her best to focus on tracking any possible scents of prey. She usually struggled to eat mostly because she either didn't have appetite or because she had learnt to eat only very little in order to save as much from the carcass for others as possible. It was something that had been forced into her head with violence and it was extremely difficult for her to remember that those kinds of rules weren't valid any longer.

However, as they continued a little bit further Zeljka's keen eyes caught a shift movement that made sudden waves of power wash over her body filling her every muscle. She was like a string of a bow ready to be released meanwhile her dark brown eyes never left from a goat she had just spotted. It seems that the animal had somehow strayed very far away from its home and was truly lost.

"There's a goat..." Zeljka whispered as she followed the prey's every move with her gaze. She had barely been able to finish those words before the strong hunting instincts had taken over her body forcing her to speed up into running. Her ears were pressed flat and it was clear that she was in her true element now that she was running towards the poor startled goat that was trying to run away. As she followed the prey, Zeljka sped up even more so that she was able to run past the goat and then turned in a loose half circle to guide the goat towards Drez so that he could help her to herd it towards Trent.

Relica
"It's alright, it seems I'm just easily startled. It seems to be running in our genes, my sister was like that too..." Relica said remembering bits of her early past where she had still lived with her siblings. She often thought about them, especially Juno and Zeljka who had been the last living siblings she had. What had happened to them? Were they still alive? She hadn't heard even a word about them since she had been captured.

"I don't have any merits really, but it's still honor to meet you as well, Longfang," Relica said chuckling a little. She looked at the silver wolf before daring to make a rather bold suggestion. "You shouldn't be up, rest is best to heal any injuries one might have. By staying up you will only hurt yourself more," the raven black Borzoi said her dark eyes soft. They had gentle yet intelligent gaze in them revealing nothing about why the female had chosen to say such words. Even Relica didn't know why she had chosen to say that, perhaps it just was that she felt bad for the injured and wanted them to get better, no matter who they were.

Drez

The question Zelkja asked was understandable given everyone had their own experiences with adapting to their environment; he learnt to embrace pain rather than fight it for it becomes more difficult the more one fights it. But he knew others weren't nearly as able to tolerance pain. His entire being was littered in scars that served as a testament to this and hates it with every fiber of his being.
"I…never even saw myself with both eyes before…like from peering at a lake"
The blind hybrid slowly raised his head upon the words; it seemed he lived with a heavily scarred body his entire life, a lifetime of self-loathing and regret for the very air he breathed.
"I learnt how to embrace what I lacked….I feel horrible for those that are pushed into the wilderness without a clue of how to survive out here…"
A sight left his scarred lips; he had met once domesticated dogs be dropped off by their owners and the affects of such. Sadly so few saw him as friend and were quick to call him the cruelest things despite being able to assist them when they needed it most.

The other question had confused Drez greatly and slowly peered at the borzoi, with the gashes layering his being to ask the question was him needing to admit the traumas he had faced in his life. But as if the gods were on his side the female was soon bolting off to chase a goat. He wasn't given the time to answer even if he wished to and took a slow, deep breath to calm his nerves. At least he may feed again soon but felt it was best he kept silent even after the chase. Without hesitation, even caught a little off guard from the sudden hunt, he himself bolted. His muscles flexed with each step he took but gone he was part wolf one isn't able to see the muscle hidden underneath the thick pelt and snapped his jaws at the goat. The prey tried to weaved around trees to ward him off but Drez had his gaze locked upon them; his nostrils flaring as he tried to detect Trent; his eyes widening when the Can Corso suddenly lept from the behind a large tree and tackled the gaot, causing Drez to hastily slow his motions and rolled onto the Can Corso.
"Impatient enough?"
Trent grunted as he snapped the goat's neck before tearing the fresh corpse into segments, ignoring the blind canine that had fallen on top of him.

Xera

It was an endless cycle for her; she knew others were nearby as the scent grew stronger but had grown used to others keeping their distance. She was called Phantom, Ghost and many other things with reason afterall. She grown accustomed to the loneliness her life brought and learnt to accept it as part of herself but she did enjoy the times she roughhoused with Trent.

The scent for the Can Corso lingered most, the hint of musk and nature she knew well but never could bring herself to walk towards. The male was combative and blunt with his words but also accepted Xera for her silent and observant nature. She licked her bloody chops as the scent of the other canines grew but knew better than to make herself known. The pale wolf rose to her feet before walking deeper into the forest where she vanished like the entity many thought her as; leaving only bones licked clean behind.

longfang nods. "yes, you are right, that was a bold statement you just said." he looks around. he noticed a cave. he took a couple of steps before crashing down, painting. "you said you had a sister, what was her name?" he asks softly. he noticed that, she was jet black. "where did you get your fur color from?" he asks. "it's a lovely color." he said, sighing and lowered his head ashamed, along with his tail laying on the ground. he sadly puts his ears back and sighs again.

Zeljka

Zeljka was fully focused on the chase enjoying of the speed and the sense of freedom that the exercise brought her. She didn't slow down until she saw that Drez had the situation under control and was already herding the goat towards the Cane Corso. She, however, couldn't see him anywhere no matter how hard she was looking. The dog must have found a great hiding place for himself.

However, as she was getting nearer and nearer to her companions, she suddenly saw something dark flash before her eyes. Zeljka's ears pressed back and her eyes widened when she saw that the dark dot was actually Trent. Even though her mind had already registered the dog, her body still kept running towards the two at high speed. Zeljka did her best to stop or even change the direction, but she was too close. As her last desperate attempt to avoid collision, she tried to leap into air hoping to be just able to jump over the two. Usually a jump like that wouldn't have been a problem for her, but this time she had too much speed and didn't have time to prepare for the jump properly.

Eyes wide from horror, Zeljka leapt into air like the original plan was, but due to having too little time to prepare, her front paw hit Drez causing her leap to halt abruptly. Zeljka closed her eyes and winced softly when she fell on top of the two males and then fell on the ground as a white soft bundle. The sudden fall hadn't broken any bones, but her paws hurt a lot from the impact. She laid on the ground for a while longer gathering her strength and to recover a little before Zeljka rolled over so that she was facing the two males even though she was still laying down.

"I'm sorry for being clumsy, I… I just couldn't stop," the white Borzoi apologized looking at the two males worriedly. "Are both of you alright?" Zeljka asked looking at them as if trying to see if either of them had any injuries from the impact.

Relica

Relica followed Longfang pulling her ears back a little when she saw how weak he was. She was unsure whether or not the male would be able to defend himself in that state. However, when he asked for her sister's name, Relica hesitated. Part of her wanted to share Zeljka's name in hopes of that Longfang might know where she was,  but on the other hand she wasn't too sure. She didn't know the male and didn't know, if she could trust him, at least not yet. Who knew if he had some kind of ill intentions about her sister. The female shook her head slightly shaking even her fur. It was best not to share Zeljka's name, at least she should wait a little longer before she knew that she could trust him.

"Why thank you. Gray suits you rather well too," Relica gave him a small polite smile. "I got the color from my parents. I don't remember what my father looked like, but my mother was mostly white, but she had brindle patches on her back and face," Relica told him. "Where did you get your fur color from?" The black dog asked looking at the wolf with her head tilted curiously.

Drez was about to shuffle from Trent and opened his mouth to speak until the borzoi managed to land ontop of the two males. The Can Corso squinted his eyes at the female landing upon him so suddenly; he had assumed when Drez said he was to ambush the prey it meant emerging from the shadows whilst his comrades use their senses to detect his scent but was horribly wrong.
"Get off me pups"
He grunted then suddenly stood up, toppling Drez over  who got on his feet with a soft groan. His head then jerked back with surprise when a chunk of the goat was tossed at him.
"I broke the corpse up into portions so we all get even amounts"
Trent did not seem amused by any of this as he limped to drop Zelkja's food in front of her.
"Just have Drez eat what ya don't, not want to waste the food"
He grunted before limping a bit ways from the two, he never would admit it but the gruff male was disappointed that the female from earlier hadn't made her way over; her scent was fading away and he wanted desperately to see her again. His heart was a beating mess with a flurry of emotions, his pride refusing to allow him to make his way to her for he not wish to be seen as a whimpering pup; which was uncharacteristic of him since he often hunts others down regardless what they think.

When it came down to it, he couldn't believe he met a female that is able to put up with him. Who can wrestle around with him and isn't intimidated by his large size or rough ways. Trent was so lost in his thoughts he not even hear Zelkja's words nor bother with his food, he sat with his chest out as his eyes scanned the area closely, muscles rippling with each breath he took when in truth he was fighting his own thoughts of the pale she-wolf.

Drez watched Trent with a mixture of confusion and concern, he just met the make today but had a sense there was something on his mind but knew better than to ask. For now, he chose to focus on Zelkja with a lowered head.
"….yes…are..you ok? You…seemed to have taken a rougher fall than me….I kinda..rolled onto Trent.."
He admits with an embarrassment sigh; a leaf managed to have stuck itself within the portion of Drez's muzzle that was torn off which gave him a more unpleasant appearance.
"….despite his wound he moves rather quickly and silently…"
The blond hybrid's words faded off as his eyes closed slightly in thought.

"thank you, no one said that to me, before, you, Relic." longfang said to relic. "the silver I got from my father, and the white diamond is from my mother." he said. he looks up. "oh dear, there is a storm coming." he stuggled to stand again. he failed again. he tries again. "there's a cave not far from, here, and I want to get in before the storm comes." he stood. he slowly and painfully walks toward the cave as he got inside he crashed down. "there, that's better." he said smiling.

Zeljka
Zeljka almost winced at Trent's gruff voice, she could almost swear that she was hearing disappointment in it and that made her feel even more awful. Pulling her ears back as much as they could go until they were nearly buried into her fur, she quickly scrambled off of the two and took two bouncy steps backwards. Her spine was pulled together a little and the tail was firmly pressed between her legs.

"Sorry..." Zeljka whispered though her voice was barely audible. She was scared what would happen now that she had disappointed someone, of course she couldn't tell, if the male truly was disappointed in her, but what else she could think? In her past those moments had never ended up well, especially not for her. Before Zeljka had even been able to register it herself, she had subconsciously inched closer to Drez, almost like searching protection from him. She looked up with wide eyes when Trent made his way over taking a tiny step back and one tiny step closer to Drez so that the tips of the hair on their pelts would almost be touching.

"Th-thank you..." Zeljka managed to whisper once she had recovered a bit from the shock. She watched the other canine walk away before turning her head to Drez.

"I'm okay," the white dog replied softly choosing not to mention that her body still ached from the fall. "He truly is very good at sneaking," she admitted looking towards where Trent was and then back to Drez. "Shouldn't he eat too?" she asked concerned her dark eyes clouded with worry. She then lowered her head nibbling the meat a little before she focused on Drez again. She could hear sounds of storm approaching from the distance and even though she didn't like to admit it, the sounds were making her nervous.

Relica
"Really? The genetics in your family must have spread out more evenly than those in mine," Relica replied with a soft chuckle. She glanced Longfang again, but this time a bit longer. He most certainly wasn't a bad looking canine and his parents must have looked quite beautiful. Slowly Relica's thoughts drifted back to her own family and the few memories that she had of them. They all had looked very different from the wolves that she had seen.

"Easy... don't hurt yourself," Relica said worriedly as she took quick steps to be by his side and to help support him as best as she could. She walked with him to the cave helping him to lay down before she too laid down. "I hope you're more comfortable now," the black female said looking at the male with a soft smile.

Longfang returned the soft smile with a even softer one, then slightly winced at a the coming storm, "thank you, why did you help me, for all you knew, I could be faking the injury, and used someone else's blood, which I wasn't." He winced, again. "How does my back look? It feels like fire." He winced, turning it onto a growl. "I do have some genetic issues, my grandfather, on my father's side, had abnormally long claws, and my grandmother, on my mother's side, had abnormally long fangs." He shakes his head. "When you were helping me, you did offer yourself to some injuries, if it was someone else. Your markings don't bother me at all, I think that they fit you perfectly." He said smiling softly. "I'm a almost a complete stranger to you, and you still helped me, why?" He stopped long enough for her to answer. "Relic, thank you so much for helping me." He said. "No one treated me like that before either." His shoulders started to heave as he started to cry. "You are just too nice to a wolf that has abnormally long fangs and claws." He moved around until he was comfortable. He lowered his head on his paws and sighs sadly. He closed his eyes hopeing that this was all a nightmare, but as he opens them again he saw that it was not.
