longfang sighs. "I was the one who called out who goes there when you were at the creek and I did see you." he answered the other male. "Zeljka, I'm sorry about scaring you earlier." he lowered his gaze. "I'm warm now. thank you both." he looks up at the male. "I understand, I think we should get to know each other, I want to hear both of your stories, I know I said we had the same past, I think we do, but I can be wrong." he shivered one last time, let's get way from the creek, I'll never forget today." He sighed and walked away. "Zeljka, I'm sorry to make you run, I was chasing you when I fell into the creek." he stood as tall as he can. "I told you my story, and if you're not coming with me, i'm going to look for a cave." he turns and walks slowly walks away with his head down, his tail between his legs. he looks away and he stops. "I want you to trust me, and I want to trust you." he comes back. "It will not work if we are shy of each other." he said looking in both of their sad eyes, his own gaze softened. He looks away again, and sits facing them.

Zeljka lowered her head turning her gaze away.

"My story... it isn't meant to be heard," the female whispered quietly and for a moment she struggled fighting against the pain that the mere memories brought to her. She could feel the panic starting to rise inside of her along with anxiety. It was starting to become hard to breathe again and her nails dug on the ground as the young female trembled. Whatever had happened was soon over and she was able to rise up her head to look at the other male.

"Chasing me? Why?" She asked tilting her head. However, the answer she was looking for came soon enough when the other let her know that he wished her to come with him. She was beyond terrified. Why did the male want her to follow? Where was he taking her? Was it a trap? What if it would turn the same as it had before?

"Trust is something that can't be build over night," Zeljka said solemnly. "I have my reason not to trust in anyone. I just met you today, even a full day haven't passed, how am I expected to trust you?" she asked. "Besides... you shouldn't be that quick to trust in others, they will stab you on the back. How do you know that trusting me wouldn't make your whole life doomed?" Zeljka asked looking at the male. "One can force the other to follow and even to be a friend, but is that still out of free will? Would the bond of trust be as strong as when it has been built on sharing experiences together and being there for other when they needed you the most?" she said lowering her gaze again.

"It isn't what the others say, but what their heart hides inside that determines whether I trust or not. One could promise me the entire world or shower me in nice words, yet I still wouldn't trust them even a single bit," Zeljka said as her dark eyes burned. There was obviously something serious that had happened to the young female. It was something that she never wished to talk about or share with others. And even if she had wanted to do so, she didn't know how she could do that. She didn't have the words she needed to describe it all.

Drez gave his full attention, the story didn't add up; if one paid enough attention to detail they would have known it was impossible to have seen Drez given he wasn't anywhere near the male. He only heard the faint murmurs of voices, one in which he could only assume to have been Longfang's voice. Every word the wolf spewed only caused him to stiffen and worry for the female's safety, as the two conversed Drez couldn't help but think the other's intentions were anything but innocent at this point. Perhaps it was the poor choice of words but to make the claim of "chasing" another individual only paved the way of the worst intentions.

As Zeljka spoke the blond canid tilted his head towards her, then towards Longfang once more, he wondered why the male was so insistent of being part of her life. The marks upon her neck was enough to tell a tale of pain and sorrow, and yet he chose to continue the act of desperation. The situation itself was making Drez increasingly uncomfortable; the way Longfang worded everything had set off alarms within his mind as Zeljka's words rung within his depths; his breathing picked up as memories flashed before his eyes, even if briefly  it sent chills down his spine. Drez knew far too well how cruel others can be, he knew how dangerous others males tend to be and even more so when a mother truly believed her own flesh and blood was a grave mistake.

In the end Drez found himself respecting the borzoi for speaking the words he never had the strength to say, he knew her pain and didn't wish for her to be alone but wasn't sure how to explain his thoughts. But perhaps he could reassure her she wasn't alone in all this.
"Zeljka…"
He spoke softly as he turned his head to face her, his voice a low whisper for only her to hear.
"…you're doing great…I…never could have spoken such words….and you have the right to choose who is worthy of your trust…patience and time…"
As he spoke a single, crimson tear emerged from his milky blue eye and rolled down his cheek. But rather than allow more tears to rain down his pelt or tale his story like the male before him; he sucked up the pain and faced him once more.
"…I don't think you have the worst intentions…but you must consider how….uncomfortable it must be for a female who had faced so much in her life to have a male she had just met to keep..reappearing…"
Drez spoke his thoughts on the best way possible; his heart raced as he feared being attacked but he refused to allow Zeljka feel alone in this, he wished he had someone to stand beside him and so he shall do so with her.
"…to say things like..chasing her….or continuously push to know her….it takes time for anything to work and your actions have only made her weary…cautious and fearful"

Longfang nods. "yes, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to push. I was coming after you to say 'I'm sorry.'" he lowered himself to the ground. "you are right, why do I trust you so fast?" he asks his head tilted. "I'm not forcing you to trust me, I..." he let that thought go. he looks at the other male, seeing the tear. his gaze soften. "I know you two are someone who others don't want to mess with." he said with a sad smile. "I try to be nice, but I push too much." he turned and walked sadly away his tail dragging on the ground and his head lowered. "but I thank you for saving me, that water was freezing. I guess I am not wanted here." he continues to walk away. his mind in turmoil. he sighs again and looks back one last time. then he walks away. he walked for a long time before he found a cave he sniffed carefully and upon smelling something he walked into the cave, sighing. he crashed into the floor crying himself to sleep, and he cried for a long time before sleep ever came to him. he starts twitching as his sister death and his banishment, became vivid.

Zeljka looked after the male pulling her long tail to hug tightly her rump. The young female had thought that she would feel better when the other didn't follow her, but in fact she didn't. She worried that she had been too mean to him, even though that hadn't been her intentions at all. She had just found it very scary that he had pushed to be in her company. Never in her life had Zeljka actually interacted with a male that wouldn't end up hurting her in one way or another, well, her brother Juno was the only exception. She didn't know how to be around them. She wanted to trust and wanted to be involved, but something in her mind was blocking that. Whenever a male was close, her brain told her to run as fast as she could to just get back to safety.

Feeling both her spirits completely defeated as well as the exhaustion finally taking place, Zeljka laid down on the open ground and curled herself tight little ball. The movement made her neck stung, but she didn't care about the pain. Perhaps that was what she deserved for hurting others. She was a monster after all, Angel of Death who brought only misfortune to those around her. The young female buried her snout under her tail as she finally allowed herself to cry. However, she didn't cry about her own pain she would always carry in her heart, but instead she cried because of the pain she had caused to the other.

Drez watched the interaction, he felt like a ghost, a feeling he knew all too well but preferred that over being subjected to torture. At least Longfang heard his words, his concerns but as a result the female who helped him drag the other from the creek seemed to have closed herself off. His chest tightened in defeat when his words had his words had fallen to deaf ears when it came to Zelkja but took a deep, steady breath. He wasn't one to push for he had no right to nor a reason to, 'This…is why I can't converse with others….I just make things worse…or….never am heard….', it was the bitter truth he knew better than to fight.

His gaze briefly went towards the borzoi then Longfang once more, both making it seem as if they were beaten into submission; one from the reality being forced upon him and the other Drez could only imagine as a combination of trauma and the situation overwhelming her senses. '….if I leave her alone….would another wolf try to…harm her? Or…take advantage of her?', the blond canine was weird for the borzoi but seeing how his words fell into deaf ears with her he felt she wished to be alone which he understood well. He was often torn between the need for company and seeking isolation for his safety. With a sigh Drez silently walked away from the area to keep his distance from both Zellja and Longfang; he made sure to walk the opposite direction Longfang went as he entered a small forest. Not all shadows were meant to be seen and today had only served this thought.

Longfang woke up slowly. He smelled something different, he snapped awaken. He starts following the smell and he noticed it was going in the same direction that he went earlier. He starts trotting knowing he has to safe is energy. He also saw the paw prints of a wolf running full tilt. He took of running his strides eating the ground easily. He slowed down as he noticed a wolf that looked familiar.  oh great it, the one who killed my sister. he growled softly at the thought and he followed knowing that the others were close. He sprang as the wolf that he was following crouched down to spring on her. He caused the wolf to stumble. "What are you doing here?" He asks. "Longfang? I thought you were dead." The other wolf said hissing as longfang's long claws digged in. "Zeljka, run, I and tell the other I'm in need of his assistance." He starts struggling against the other wolf. He finally got enough room to recollect his thoughts. "Hurry, I can't hold him off for long." He sprang into combat again.

Zeljka stayed in her position for quite a long time before she eventually uncurled herself. She looked around and even smelled the air, but there was no sight of the wolf that had helped her. He was gone. Panic began to rise in the female's heart as she quickly scrambled up and looked around hoping to see even a glimpse of him, but there was nothing. Feeling scared and unsure, Zeljka abandoned the place she had stayed and sped up to a quick trot as she left the place and the creek behind.

Her paws took her towards an another field that was several kilometers away from the creek. She wasn't familiar with the place and didn't know where she was even going. Her belly let out a soft grumble telling her that it wished to be filled, however, a quick glance around the rocky terrain that surrounded her told Zeljka that the prey would be very scarce around here. The female sighed but kept going forward. Her will to survive was strong and she really didn't have anything to loose. After she had entered into a completely isolated area, Zeljka slowed down to a walk allowing her mind to ponder the past things that had happened.

She hated how the emotions and exhaustion had overwhelmed her and had caused her to fall into that kind of state. She couldn't forget the smallest smiles that the other male had shared with her, but now it all seemed just like a distant memory. Just where had he gone? He hadn't alerted her nor asked her to come with him, did that mean that he didn't want her to follow? Zeljka was unsure, but at the same time she knew that even if the other male seemed "safe" so far, at least he wasn't putting any pressure on her, she still couldn't fully trust in him.

"Remember what he was like, Zeljka... Do not trust into anyone," the young female reminded herself softly while she thought about a German Shepherd who had once held the key to her freedom, but had betrayed her trust in the cruelest way possible. While Zeljka was pondering these thoughts on the rocky field she was walking, she was unaware of the commotion that happened close to the creek.

With a weary gaze the blond canid continued his walk through the small forest, the trees slowly faded as he felt himself walking downhill; the land was uneven which was expected given the terrain. He wasn't sure where he was headed nor had it ever mattered to him, he was alone and had no companion to keep his thoughts from going astray. His heart was heavy as his mind sought to destroy what little self-worth he had; it was a battle he wasn't certain he could win. Before long his muzzle wrinkled at a rotting stench but before he had the time to determine the source he jolted when a voice had emerged.
"SON OF A BITCH!!"
Birds flew off at the sheer force of the words, the voice was deep and raspy with a combative edge to it. Drez snapped his head to and fro only to find himself uncertain of his next course of action. On one paw he could turn and head back where he came but it risked running into the wolf and borzoi he had only recently met. He particularly did not feel comfortable enough to see Longfang after the words that were spoken, with Zelkja he felt she not wish to see him either. With a deep, steady breath he slowly inched in the direction of the sound, '….if…they harm me...it wouldn't be the first and yet I am still here…', as somber the words came it served to distract him from the uncharacteristic actions of his. The scent of a musky male filled his lungs, the metallic scent of blood hanging in the air, before him a large was a tree large enough to block his vision which he took the opportunity to awkwardly hide his large body. Slowly he shifted his head to gaze at the small clearing, his eye transfixed upon the sight before.

Hovering over the body of a decaying deer carcass was perhaps the most muscular creature Drez had even see in a canine. With a sleek dark brindle pelt made up of various hues of brown with a tint of red upon the sun's rays to enter through the tree's above was a Cane Corso. The male had scars littering his muscular frame. His chest wide with a patch of white as it heaved with each breath taken. The figure growled lowly under his breath as the gaze narrowed upon the corpse before him.
"Fucking had enough of this shit!"
The beast snarled at the corpse, eyes wild with a burning hatred that made Drez' entire being scream to run while he can but he couldn't bring himself to.
"Why do I leave these kills out in the open when no one is stupid enough to take the bait?! Need to fight someone or I sweat to the moons….."
The Cane Corso paced to and fro with deep breaths, his bobbed tail risen and muscles flexed with each movement. It was a sight Dez couldn't stray his gaze from, '….he..is so big, but…why do…I feel he is misunderstood…?', to his amazement he found himself leaning forward to get a better view of the unfamiliar male. He was a fighter and one that wasn't meant to be left to his own devices; as aggressive he may seem Drez felt an odd sense of comfort being in the same area as the other. Lost in his own thoughts he failed to notice the brindle pelted beast sniffed the air intensely before barring his teeth, it wasn't until the figure stood inches from Drez had he realized he was caught. With a loud yelp of surprise he jumped backwards and landed onto his back, legs sticking in the air with a widened gaze. The male however only narrowed his gaze.
"….seriously this all you got to give me?! A little yelp and wide eyes?!"
The male barked, causing Drez to flinch but otherwise hadn't moved a muscle nor tried to stand.
"Well aren't you gonna talk pretty boy or do I gotta force you?!"
"M-my apologies sir!"
Deez was quick to scamper onto his feet, his head lowered and ears lowered as far they could until he realized the other's words.
"…y-you t-think I'm pretty..?"
He asked shakily as his nerves took over, his head tilting just enough to meet the other's gaze. The Cane Corso only rose a brow in response.
"What? Got somethin wrong with you?"
He asked bluntly, his eyes meeting Drez' in a challenging manner, they practically screamed for him to even try to convince him there was something wrong. With a thick gulp Drez slowly shook his head.
"Good because I'm bored as hell and itching for a fight"
The very words Drez feared to hear, the Cane Corso made to reality.

longfang continued to fight him. "you are weak." his opponent said. "you think I am weak, I left on my own terms." he made a surprising move that he did not know before. his opponent took off running. "I'll be back longfang." he said before running again as longfang hissed. he shook his head and followed her sent. he ran until he cought up. "are you alright?"he asks painting. he swayed and collapsed. "i'm hurt. I did try to keep you safe at the cost of my life." he said before blacking out for a short while upon waking up he noticed nothing different. he sighs and his gaze falls to the floor and he starts painting harder and harder, as he bleeds on the leaves. "i'm not going to order you to help me, but i'm going to die if I don't have help soon." he closed his eyes and winced at what he said. "I'm sorry, I don't intend to be here for much longer." he winced as he took a deep breath. "I'm so sorry sister, I tried." he said before he blacked out again. his breath going shallower and shallower.
