Waking up with a groan, the she-cat got up, deciding to gather some herbs. With no 'StarClan' to watch over her, the medicine cat needed to make sure others didn't fall the same fate. No cat knew she didn't believe in 'StarClan', but did they need to? |

She rose from her nest and groomed down her fur before heading out of camp to hunt early before she went to the gathering.Since no one could say she wasn't able to go like a leader she just chose to go,she wasn't to sure about who was going to lead the clan to the gathering or who was to sit below the young oak but at the moment she just needed to focus on one thing,keeping her clan fed. Bright rose-she/her/warrior Bright rose yawned sleepily and stretched laying down in the clearing blinking away sleep and fixing her fur every now and then. |

The she-cat stopped dead in her tracks. No leader or deputy, she would have to lead the gathering. "Oh, great..." She hissed, shaking her grey head and padding back into her den. |

She stopped in her tracks as the scent of mouse drifted to her.yes!! she thought dropping into a crouch and making her way towards the scent and soft steps of the mouse.When the mouse came into view a shiver of excitement went through her and she moved closer,finally she pounced snapping its spine before it could run then she leaped up a tree and hid it within the branches.She gazed around her sharp eyes searching before she continued leaping down from the tree. |

She yawned, her legs a tad sore from all the movement. Though she was pumped up for the gathering- had to stay fit and muscular, even if they didn't have a leader she had to represent their clans independence. |

She missed a bird and a very slippery fish but managed to catch a young rabbit.She hid that in the trees as well,since most of her fur was black she had little problems with staying hidden but she was a bit out of practice with hunting birds and not the best fisher. |

Once she had distracted herself enough, the she-cat decided to get ready for the gathering. Grooming herself outside, she waited for those who wanted to attend to gather. The medicine cat wasn't a leader, why should she decide who came and who didn't? |

After managing to catch another mouse she padded back to where the rabbit was and grabbed it deciding to get the other mouse when she came back.Moving quickly she entered camp and dropped the rabbit and mouse on the pile glancing over at shattered hope."I'll be back,gotta get another mouse" she meowed before leaving camp once more. |

The she-cat growled. She wasn't the leader, why did her Clanmates act like she was? It was nonsense, and the medicine cat hated it! |
