New mechanic to prevent Combos from entering the Chase Pool

I suggest that we should not allow combo bases to be able to join the chase pool! A mechanic that prevents combo established bases to only be deleted when chased! -why Suggest?- I fear that with people mass producing them already and trying to r/c them in large quantitys this supposedly rare breed only base will hold little value and shift the market (even more than what it is) to only favor r/c or the studs of gen 1 bases and would unbalance the community's focus too highly for devaluing breed only bases for the sole purpose of Gen 1s The joys of r/c and gen 1s is fun but I feel we are too focused on the Gen 1s to a point that nothing maintains value or is bred with value because of the desire for Gen 1s everything! Wolvden did right to not allow muties to be able to be chased g1s and I was hoping the devs would not up the breeding rate of the brand new combo we got so high! So I am suggesting a balance for the sake of breed only staying breed only so we have something of value that can only be maintain by a breed only way and not found as mass produced Gen 1s! -Coding Difficulty?- Coding should be simple hopefully since wolvden has a mechanic to not allow young pups or muties into the chase pool! Perhaps code something that only target bases established as combos and prevent said base from joining the chase pool |

Combos should stay as combos to maintain their rarity cuz otherwise they will just become like every other base |

But that's just because I'm a gen1 lover and would much rather have that than a g25 combo. The market is already trash, doing this won't solve much. |

For one thing that isn't mutie and stat related I wish we could have an actual breed only that stays breed only and can't be chased into a bunch of Gen 1s, I crave a true breed only that stays actually breed only sure it's still combo base but still can be found as Gen 1s if people chase enough of em. Which still defeats the whole breed "only" thing and the reason why I make this suggestion! |

With that said, I don't see them doing anything like this. Mostly from a coding standpoint. While with some degree you make sense in the "mutations wipe and babies can't be chased" that doesn't really work with "base genetics" as they'd have to completely rewrite the bases— and not just one— that would have to be erased once chased. Something altogether new would have to be written into a LOT of code to make something like this viable and they already have a lot to do on their plate. |
