"True, the young hyenas can sometimes be very cruel to each other," Nsha agreed with a sigh as the male remembered his own younger days. Not everyone had happy memories with their family members and sadly the elder male was one of those. "I wish a day would come when the little ones wouldn't need to go through any of those troubles, but could grow up happily rather than needing to fight for their right to survive and live," Nsha said turning his attention from Viggeir to Phenyo briefly in order to make sure that the cub was still safe.

Turning his gaze back to Viggeir and Keira, he was about to speak some more, but the heard a greeting from a shadow that had fallen upon them. The male tensed, he didn't know the female personally, but something in her told him that he should be on his guard.

"Good day," Nsha returned the greeting though he avoided making direct eye contact not wishing to provoke the unfamiliar female in any way. He quickly glanced at Phenyo and as the young cub looked up, a sharp glare from his grandfather made him stop his games and return to his grandfather's side while looking at the other hyena curiously. The young cub couldn't understand what there had been in the other female that had made his grandfather to be on guard. And truth to be told, even Nsha didn't know what it was, but it was just something... perhaps an instinct or something similar just warning him that he shouldn't be too relaxed around the three hyenas who barely had even conversed with him, until now.
