I've made a suggestion post to keep Saligia from entering the datables pool due to her character Obvious spoilers, but I greatly believe that this is a matter that needs to be stopped now As cool as dating a witch leader sounds, the way the story was written this year clearly places Saligia as an ABUSIVE character. She actively manipulates the player character, gaslights them, bullies them into submission and tosses the player character aside upon getting what she wants. This is textbook abuse and offering her as a datable will be creating an in-game abusive relationship. No one should ever romanticize a character who is inherently abusive. Allowing players to date an abusive character is not only in bad taste, but risks exposing younger audiences, which Wolvden has a lot of minors, to unhealthy relationships and poses it as normal. I'm well aware that many of my concerns are overlooked on this game but please listen to me when I say do not make Saligia a datable. If you revamp the entire storyline and change her entire character next year, then it's probably safe to revisit, but not now, not as she is. |
