We all learned from Tala that when our old lead retires, our explore map resets.
And with a new lead, three biomes, including the biome we are in and the two biomes adjacent, are initially unlocked.
So according to this knowledge, I created a list of every biome's initial 'adjacent' biome.

I have a guess: the 6 biomes in the central are centrally symmetrical in 'adjacent' biomes. I was wrong about this.

Home biome: Adjacent biome1/Adjacent biome2
(From north to south, west to east)

Glacier: Tundra/Taiga

Tundra: Glacier/Tundra

Taiga: Tundra/Coniferous Forest

Coniferous Forest: Taiga/Deciduous Forest

Mountains: Grasslands/Prairie

Grasslands: Mountains/Deciduous Forest

Deciduous Forest: Coniferous Forest/Grasslands

Riparian Woods: Deciduous Forest/Prairie

Prairie: Grasslands/Desert

Desert: Prairie/Swamp

Swamp: Desert/Rainforest

Rainforest: Desert/Swamp 		Narlord

I live in coniferous. Adjacent to Taiga, Mountains, Grassland, Deciduous, and Riparian Woodland.
Taiga to the north. Coniferous stretches across the map left to right, so the other listed biomes are to the south, in order from left to right.

So, if you are still looking for data, I just had a lead retire. My new lead took over in the Grasslands.  I got the Mountains amd Deciduous forest unlocked too. 		Jendea semi-hiatus

Coniferous Forest person here, I had Decidious & the Taiga when had my lead retire!!
