I've gotten blocked by people I don't even know lol.

Oh, I'm sorry we made you feel like that *cough*bucket*cough, glare, cough*ย  It's your money, and nobody should tell you what to do with it. If you want to give it away, go ahead, or don't.

I think I should add a rule about this, don't know what though...

hey this wouldnt of happened if fig just listened to us, I dont want to make people feel bad but I want people to actually think before taking action and think of the consequences. Throwing away 300 GC which is alot to basically someone youll never talk to again. I want this to be a learning lesson.

Fig you shouldn't feel guilty for that it's your money and your choice so in the end it's your choice how to spend it if your opinion is to give it to someone then you can give it don't let others stop you from doing something you want

edit: if its a bad decision so what you'll learn from it if your happy with your choice is all that matters

Fig, I understand that you might have had good intentions when you gave away 300 GC to a stranger, but let me explain why this might not have been the best choice, and hopefully, this can serve as a learning lesson.

First, giving away money to strangers without knowing their situation can often lead to being taken advantage of. While it's wonderful to be generous, it's important to be discerning about whom you're giving your resources to. This is not just about the moneyโ€”it's about ensuring that your kindness is directed where it can truly make a positive impact.

Second, money or resources are valuable, and once they're given away, you can't get them back. By giving away 300 GC, you're not just parting with the money itself, but potentially with the ability to use that money for something that benefits you or others you care about. It's important to think ahead about whether this act is truly the best use of those resources.

Third, long-term consequences: This might seem like a small thing now, but as you continue to encounter similar situations, you might find that being overly generous to strangers can lead to regret or even being exploited. It's critical to learn to balance generosity with caution.

Finally, learning to say "no" is a valuable skill. You don't need to help everyone who asks for something, especially when you don't know their true intentions. You can still be a kind person without giving away your own resources freely. Instead, try looking for ways to be generous that don't put you at risk of losing something important to you.

I hope this helps you see why being careful with where you give your money and resources is essential for your own well-being. Next time, try to evaluate the situation more criticallyโ€”what are the potential risks and rewards? What are you giving away, and why? I'm sure you'll make smarter decisions moving forward. Sorry if this entire situation made you feel worse.
