Patches and Piebald Information

Patches: Pointed, Piebald: Dalmation, Piebald: Dip, and Piebald: Zerdava are new secondary mutations on Wolvden.  These are Applicator Mutations, so they can only be obtained via an applicator or passed down by parents with the mutation.  Patches and Piebald cannot randomly appear on wolves.

Both Patches and Piebald patterns have a small chance to naturally pass down to pups when breeding, and require just one Patches or Piebald parent to pass the mutation.  Patches: Pointed requires at least one Patches: Pointed parent to pass, while Piebald: Dalmatian requires at least one Piebald: Dalmatian parent to pass, and so on.  If two Patches: Pointed wolves breed together, they have a doubled chance to pass Patches: Pointed to their puppies.  If a Patches: Pointed and a Piebald: Dalmatian breed together, their puppies can inherit either one or the other mutation (you can have a litter where some pups inherit Pointed and some inherit Dalmatian).

As a reminder, the previous raffle stud's exclusive attributes were the Nocturne Wings, Red Panda, and White Wings Scarce markings!  Nocturne Wings is now able to be applied via Random Marking Applicators and Total Shuffles.
