The soaked, wet plops of pawfalls filled Rebels ears. It had a familiar feel to it, from the pack he used to live in as a pup.
He quickly shook away that memory, not wanting to bring it back up from the dead.

He saw a friendly shape in the distance through the wall of rain. A massive oak, with strong roots weaving all over the place, forming a den below the tree.

A den. Lusserina could've cried from relief, had she not been so tired. Her bones and muscles both ached from the cold. She remained behind the other wolf despite wishing to run into it and shake off the rain immediately.

Rebel started to crawl in, it was a bit of a squeeze in the entrance, but roomy in the center. He froze when she said that. A warm, comforting feeling seemed to cuddle his cold and weary heart.
He tried to hide it, he turned away and pushed into his den. "Yeah." He mumbled.

Rebel, his white teeth glistening in the little lighting, gestured to an elk pelt against the wall. "You both can sleep there." He mumbled. Walking over to an opposite spot in the den, he shook out his rain soaked fur and plopped on the ground, facing away from them.
He licked his paws as he thought deeply.

Silverstripe started to think as well. He looks at the entrance then him trying to decide which one was more dangerous.

So the black wolf was the standoffish type, Lusserina noted as she crawled deeper into the den. She shook off the rain from her fur and settled down, making sure to keep an eye on him just in case and leaving a spot for the pup to rest beside her if he so chose. She wasn't sure if she would actually be able to sleep this night, but a little rest wouldn't hurt. He hadn't attacked them yet.

The den went quiet for a while, the only sound being that of the rain hitting the ground outside.

"What's your name?" she asked the elder wolf to break the silence. If they were going to spend the night, they might as well get to know each other a little. Might make them less likely to jump at each other's throats, too. "Mine is Lusserina." 		Nuff

Silverstripe nods. "I'm Silverstripe." He said moving closer to her, and laid down. "Thanks by the way." He said as his ears twitched as he heard something just about the rain.
